[00:01:33] Speaker C: Good evening, everyone, and welcome to the Trim radio network. [00:01:38] Speaker D: And I'll tell you what. We have a lot to cover. We hadn't had a chance to get to this. I am redoing the bottom of the. [00:01:47] Speaker C: House from a flood. So I apologize, but this is life. Walk with Christ. God. So you could come on over to. [00:01:55] Speaker D: The trim radio network. You can listen in. We broadcast live all over the world. And if you want to be a member of our Trim radio network team, all you have to do is message us. [00:02:08] Speaker C: We'll show you how easy it is to do. [00:02:10] Speaker D: And we have some great deals, a lot of wonderful open slots. [00:02:14] Speaker C: So we would love to have you on the team. Anyway, the opinions expressed by my host. [00:02:19] Speaker D: Co host, guest myself, I know this is not that, or not necessarily that of the Trim radio network, its owners, managers, or others. Any information shared by us, including any health and medical professional information, is not. [00:02:32] Speaker C: To be considered to be used as advice. We inform, we don't advise. [00:02:36] Speaker D: And it's just that simple. And we expressly deny any and all. [00:02:42] Speaker C: Legal issues that arise from the show. Anyway, the song right there, well, that's together from king and country, covered under our BMI music license, 6100 516 58. And here's where we left off. [00:02:56] Speaker D: And I know it's been a while, and I am so sorry about that, guys. [00:02:59] Speaker C: It has. [00:03:00] Speaker D: But illness and doing some stuff around the house from a flood, trying to get things back in shape so I could get my 90 year old mother back at home is the most important thing. [00:03:14] Speaker C: So we are on page 1088 414. [00:03:19] Speaker D: 24 is where we stopped. I'm glad that we're back because, well. [00:03:23] Speaker C: I missed you all. Anyway, chapter 23, Jesus characterizes the Pharisees. [00:03:30] Speaker D: And I want to go back because I think this is exactly where we were. [00:03:36] Speaker C: And remember, this is probably the most. [00:03:39] Speaker D: That Jesus has spoke right here. Coming up. Very important for you to understand. [00:03:45] Speaker C: Why the Jews had missed the boat. [00:03:49] Speaker D: And everything that was going on. Extremely important. [00:03:53] Speaker C: And I think a lot of this. [00:03:55] Speaker D: Is going to be stated right here by Christ God. [00:03:58] Speaker C: And he's going to make it known. So let's get right on into it. Chapter 23, page 1088. [00:04:06] Speaker D: King James Bible. [00:04:07] Speaker C: Here we go. Then Jesus spoke to the multitude and to his disciples, saying, the scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses's seat. All there, all. Therefore, whatsoever they bid you observe and observe, and do but do not ye after their works. For they say and do not. And he's telling them they're not following the word. They're not doing. Everything that they know is written in there. The scribes are good. The scripture is good. Okay. Not a problem there. The scribes aren't good. The scripture is good. What's written is good. But the scribes and the Pharisees are not following. They're snubbing their nose. [00:04:57] Speaker D: They're acting like they follow it and everything else. [00:05:01] Speaker C: But really, they're trying to have that. [00:05:03] Speaker D: Relationship that we talked about with God. [00:05:06] Speaker C: But on their terms, not on God's terms. [00:05:09] Speaker D: And they're not having it. [00:05:11] Speaker C: They're not listening to the word. They're being very hypocritical. For they bind heavy burdens and grievances to be borne. And lay them on men's shoulders. But they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. But all their works they do. Or to be seen of men, they make broad their phylectre. [00:05:36] Speaker D: Boy, I can't even say this word. [00:05:38] Speaker C: Phylacteries. And enlarged the borders of their garments. And they love the uppermost rooms at the feasts. And the chief seats in the synagogues. And greetings in the markets. And to be called of men, Rabbi. Rabbi. But not be called Rabbi. For one is your master even Christ. And all are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth. For one is your father which is in heaven. Neither be you called masters. For one is your master even Christ. And you notice that he's not taking any credit here. Again. [00:06:17] Speaker D: He is. [00:06:18] Speaker C: All the praise, all the glory is going to God. Don't call me master. God in heaven is master over me. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased. And he that shall humble himself shall be exalted again. Going back earlier in Matthew. Whoever wants to be first will surely have to be last. [00:06:44] Speaker D: And whoever is last will surely be first. [00:06:48] Speaker C: But woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites. For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men. For ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites. For ye devour widows houses, and for a pretense make long prayer. Therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. He's telling you you are no different. [00:07:18] Speaker D: Than anybody who is falling short. As a matter of fact, you might even be worse, because you know better. [00:07:24] Speaker C: And you know the scripture. [00:07:25] Speaker D: And you're being such a hypocrite, you're. [00:07:28] Speaker C: Not even following it. Woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites. For you compass, sea and land to make one boselate. And when he is made, ye make him twofold more than the child of hell than yourselves. Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, whosoever shall swear by the temple is nothing but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple is a debtor, ye fools and blind. For whether is greater the gold or the temple that sanctifieth the gold, and whosoever shall swear by the altar is nothing but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty, ye fools, and blind. For whether is greater the gift or the altar that sanctifieth the gift, whosoever shall swear by the altar, sweareth by it and by all things thereon. And whosoever shall swear by the temple, swear by it, and by him that dwelleth therein. And he that shall swear by heaven, sweareth by the throne of God, and by him that sitteth thereon. Woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites. For ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law. Judgment, mercy and faith, these ought ye have done, and not to leave the other undone. They understand, but they're judging the law, and they're. [00:09:14] Speaker D: And they're doing it so flat. And they're not understanding forgiveness. [00:09:17] Speaker C: They're not understanding mercy, true judgment. They're, you know, okay, well, we know him. [00:09:25] Speaker D: He's a good guy, so we're going. [00:09:26] Speaker C: To let him off the hook. But on others, they're going to make them pay to the nose. They're going to pay the price for what they did. They are not following. They know the words, they know everything about it, but they're not following the intention of it. It's like the intent of the law and the letter of the law, two very different things. When you do the intent of the law and you do what's right, and you're supposed to do what's right, is it sometimes better than the letter of the law? Absolutely. The letter of the law, on the other hand, is God's law. So therefore follow it with full intention. Even so, ye outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and inequity. Woe unto you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites, because ye build the tombs of the prophets and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, and say, if we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill ye up, and then measure of your fathers, ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets and wise men and scribes, and some of them ye shall kill and crucify, and then some of them ye shall scourge in your synagogues and persecute them from the city to city. That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth. From the blood of righteousness Abel unto the blood of Zacharias. [00:11:24] Speaker D: I apologize. [00:11:26] Speaker C: My grandson walked in, and Barcheserus, whom you slew between the temple and the altar, verily I say unto you, all these things shall come upon this generation. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou killest the prophets and the strongest of them which are sent unto thee. How often would I have gathered my children together, even as a hen gathered her chickens under her wings, and ye would not behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, ye shall not see me henceforth till ye should say, blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord, the second coming. He's right there in front of them. And again, they don't see him, and he is basically calling them out. He is telling them the things that they did wrong and why it's wrong, and they are not listening. They're not seeing. They can see, but they can't perceive. And they hear, but they cannot understand. Then again, fulfilling the scripture as it was told, as he said it already many times, as Christ said it, they will see. That's why parables are there. Here we are. Chapter 24 1090. The temple to be destroyed. [00:12:51] Speaker D: Mark 13, one and two. [00:12:54] Speaker C: And Luke, chapter 21, verses five and six. And Jesus went out and departed from the temple. And his disciples came to him for to show him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, see ye. [00:13:07] Speaker D: Not all these things? [00:13:09] Speaker C: Verily I say unto you, there shall not be one left here 1 st upon another, and shall not be thrown down. Come that day it will happen. And as he sat upon the mount of olives, the disciples came away to him privately, saying, tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars. See that ye not be troubled. For all these things must come to pass. But the end is not yet for our nation. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be famines and pestilences. [00:14:01] Speaker D: And earthquakes in divers places. [00:14:06] Speaker C: And all these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you. And ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations. And then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place. Whosoever readeth, let him understand. And then let them which be in Judea, I'll flee into the mountains. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house. Neither let him which is in the. [00:15:28] Speaker D: Field return back to take his clothes. [00:15:30] Speaker C: And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days. But pray ye that your fight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day, for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world. To this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved, but for the elect's sake, those days shall be shortened. If any man shall say unto you, lo, here is Christ, or there, believe it not, for there shall arise false christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders insomuch that if were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before, wherefore, if they shall say unto you, behold, he is in the desert, do not go forth. Behold, he is in the secret chambers. Believe it not. And it's important because God now is the Christ now is talking about the. [00:16:40] Speaker D: Things that are going to happen in revelation. Here we go. [00:16:44] Speaker C: And he's saying it now. And it's important to remember that we cannot be fooled. We have to remain steadfast, upright, outward in appearance, believing in Christ and knowing that these things are going to happen. We've seen it already. We've seen it many times already. And that's the sad part, is that we see it and people believe it, and they're like, could it be? Could it be? No, it can't be. So now we're going to get onto page 1091, chapter 24, verse 27. And this is the second coming. And you can go back and you. [00:17:32] Speaker D: Can double check it through. Mark, chapter 1324, through 27 in Luke 21, 25, 28. [00:17:43] Speaker C: For as lightning cometh out of the east and shineth even unto the west, shall also becoming the son of man be. For whosoever the carcass is, there will be the eagles be gathered together immediately after the tribulation of those days. Shall the sun be darkened, and shall the moon not give her light? And the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, and then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven. And then shall all the tribes of the earth mournfully, and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with the great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When his branch is yet to tender and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near, so likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away. But my words shall not pass away. And it's very important. What he's telling you is, okay, just as you know when winter is coming. [00:19:13] Speaker D: Just as you know when fall is coming, just as you know when summer and spring and all these things are coming. You're attentive to those things. [00:19:21] Speaker C: Be attentive to what Christ is telling you. Now. God is not going to be senior. [00:19:27] Speaker D: All these people are going to play games and do all these terrible things. [00:19:30] Speaker C: And say, there he is. [00:19:31] Speaker D: Here he is. I'm him, whatever. [00:19:33] Speaker C: It's not true. We will see. We will see it. We will all see it at the same time. And we will hear that trumpet. And then we will know that Christ is here. But that day and hour knoweth no man. No, not the angels of heaven, but my father only. Even Christ does not know but his father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also be the coming of the son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving it in marriage. Until the day that Noah entered unto the ark and knew not until the flood came and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the. [00:20:27] Speaker D: Son of man be. [00:20:32] Speaker C: Then shall be two in the field. The one shall be taken and the other one left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill. One shall be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for ye know not what hour the Lord doeth come. But know this. If the good man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready. For in such an hour as ye think not the son of man cometh. Be prepared. Because it's going to happen when you least expect it. [00:21:19] Speaker D: Be prepared. [00:21:24] Speaker C: Who then is a faithful and wise servant whom his lord hath made the ruler over his household to give them meat in the due season. Blessed is that servant whom the lord, when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, that he shall make him ruler over all his goods. So be ready. [00:21:50] Speaker B: But. [00:21:51] Speaker C: And if that evil servant shall say in his heart, my lord delayeth his coming and shall begin to smite his fellow servants and to eat and drink with the drunken. The lord of that servant shall come home in a day when he looketh not for him. And in an hour that he is not aware of and shall cut him asunder and appoint him his position with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Better to be ready now. [00:22:26] Speaker D: Be prepared now. [00:22:29] Speaker C: This point in life, I can't stress this enough. Being prepared now is the difference between life and death. If you think you have something that is more important, you don't, be prepared now. You have free will. Make your choice, believe and walk in the best ability you're going to fall short. That's okay. We all do. [00:23:04] Speaker D: There's. [00:23:05] Speaker C: I would rather just put my whole heart into Christ, God. And even if I fall short, I know I'm going to fall short. [00:23:17] Speaker D: But I would rather have him in my corner protecting me. [00:23:23] Speaker C: So. Chapter 25, page 1092. [00:23:27] Speaker D: And we're getting right there. And I've got about five more minutes tonight, guys, and then we're going to kind of move on and come back to this. [00:23:39] Speaker C: This is the parable of the ten then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them. But the wise took oil vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made. Behold, the bridegroom cometh, go ye to meet him. Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, give us your oil, for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, not so, lest there be enough for us and you, but go ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgin, saying, lord, lord, open to us. But he answered and said, verily I say unto you, I do not know you. Watch, therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the son of man cometh. And it's important to remember that, because we don't know. [00:25:11] Speaker D: We don't know at all. [00:25:13] Speaker C: So many times when he's saying this. [00:25:15] Speaker D: In parables, you're not going to have. [00:25:18] Speaker C: That time to turn around and go back and plead and say, but, God. [00:25:23] Speaker D: Wait, I'm here now. [00:25:26] Speaker C: You had all this time to make sure you were prepared, and you were. Do you have your oil? That's basically what he's saying right here. [00:25:35] Speaker D: There's ten virgins there. [00:25:37] Speaker C: Five were wise, five were not wise. Five were prepared, five were not. So when they go there and they get to that chance, he says, let me in, but I don't know you. [00:25:51] Speaker D: Your chance has passed. That's why it is so important. [00:25:58] Speaker C: Follow the scriptures. [00:26:00] Speaker D: Believe. [00:26:01] Speaker C: But remember the Bible, to me in. [00:26:05] Speaker D: My interpretation, is one of the most incredible love stories ever. [00:26:10] Speaker C: It is the most incredible love story. [00:26:13] Speaker D: It constantly teaches you from the beginning to the end how much God loved. [00:26:19] Speaker C: Us and why all's we did was. [00:26:22] Speaker D: Fail him the entire way through. [00:26:28] Speaker C: But yet he loved us so much he gave his son as a ransom. So that because we all fall short. [00:26:37] Speaker D: And we couldn't bridge that gap to. [00:26:39] Speaker C: Get to him, but Christ could and did. [00:26:46] Speaker D: The least we can do is be prepared and be ready. That's the most important part. So, you know, it's. [00:26:58] Speaker C: This is up to us in today's world with everything that's going on. [00:27:03] Speaker D: And a lot of people are like. [00:27:05] Speaker C: Well, they don't want to believe. [00:27:07] Speaker D: They don't want to do anything. [00:27:09] Speaker C: There's so much proof. If you want to lay your life. [00:27:14] Speaker D: On the line like that, that's fine. [00:27:16] Speaker C: That'S up to you. That's called free will. But why? You don't need to take that chance. So I'd ask you why? Why would you do it? [00:27:28] Speaker D: I mean, isn't that tempting God in. [00:27:30] Speaker C: A lot of ways? [00:27:32] Speaker D: I'm purposely not going to get there because I don't believe in God. I don't believe in Christ. [00:27:37] Speaker C: Some invisible being or whatever. Well, go ahead if that's the way that you feel, but you don't have your oil, you're not ready. And with that, we're going to stop. [00:27:53] Speaker D: Tonight, guys, I only got in to do a half an hour tonight. And, you know, with that, we are, we are rolling right along. We're going to talk about the parable. [00:28:05] Speaker C: Of the talents and wonderful story. [00:28:10] Speaker D: It's going to be absolutely incredible. And. [00:28:15] Speaker C: I love the parables and how. [00:28:17] Speaker D: God explains how Christ explains everything and. [00:28:22] Speaker C: The trust and everything else. [00:28:25] Speaker D: And. [00:28:27] Speaker C: If you get a chance and you're having a hard time, you're struggling. [00:28:32] Speaker D: What have you got to lose? [00:28:34] Speaker C: What have you got to lose? [00:28:40] Speaker D: Please, I couldn't beg you enough. Start getting into it just a little. [00:28:46] Speaker C: Bit at a time. [00:28:48] Speaker D: And I'll bet you, you just open it up somewhere. Don't even pick a place, just open it. And there is going to be right there in front of you exactly what you need to hear. Anyway, with that, I thank you for. [00:29:02] Speaker C: Joining us right here on life. [00:29:04] Speaker D: Walk with Christ. God. [00:29:06] Speaker C: Sorry I'm cutting it a little short. [00:29:07] Speaker D: Tonight, guys, but I am tired, sore, and we will be back at it. [00:29:14] Speaker C: Full swing next week on Sunday, and. [00:29:19] Speaker D: When I'm a little bit more rested, a little bit better, and we're going. [00:29:23] Speaker C: To be at it then. [00:29:24] Speaker D: So I pray regardless of how many people come on, but I pray that all of you would come in and. [00:29:30] Speaker C: Join in or whatever, and I'd love. [00:29:32] Speaker D: To have people come on and talk, and I want to hear your interpretations. [00:29:36] Speaker C: How you're hearing it. Remember, I'm not a priest. I'm not a clergy. [00:29:40] Speaker D: I'm not a rabbi. I'm no deacon. [00:29:43] Speaker C: I'm nobody. [00:29:44] Speaker D: I'm just a guy that loves to. [00:29:46] Speaker C: Read, and I love to read the Bible. [00:29:48] Speaker D: King James, you know, Niv, I love reading, and I, this is just. [00:29:57] Speaker B: It'S. [00:29:58] Speaker C: A way for me to find peace in this world that has taken away a lot of our peace. [00:30:04] Speaker D: So with that, I'm going to let you go. I hope you have a blessed week. [00:30:08] Speaker C: God bless you all. Love you all. [00:30:13] Speaker D: And we shall move on from there. Have a great night, folks, and we'll. [00:30:18] Speaker C: Talk to you all later on. It.
