[00:01:21] Good evening, everybody. Welcome to my world. Well, it's your world, too.
[00:01:30] We have a little bit of fun here. We don't talk about money on Wednesdays. Normally we talk about what's going on, and I have a lot of fun doing different things and going different places. And I think we just locked up.
[00:01:47] We did.
[00:01:50] Oh, my God. What happened?
[00:02:00] We just locked up.
[00:02:02] I don't know what's causing it.
[00:02:06] Well, daggone it. Let's try it again.
[00:02:10] Let.
[00:02:30] Good evening, everybody. I don't know if we are having some technical difficulties. Give me a second, people, and we'll see what we can get done.
[00:02:44] Holy cow. I've never had this happen before.
[00:03:03] The cam.
[00:03:08] Let's see if we can get there.
[00:03:10] Oh, there we are.
[00:03:15] Wow, this is something. All of a sudden, everything just went blank.
[00:03:23] I can't believe it.
[00:03:26] We had some problems with money and change, and for some reason, it wiped out everything I had to talk about on Sunday.
[00:03:37] And I don't know what's causing the problem. I really don't. Well, anyhow, gang, welcome to my world right here on trimradio.com, better known as the Trim radio network. And we are covered all over the world. We go out on the Internet and we go everywhere, and we can talk about just about anything on tonight's show, even about the glitch that the camera went out and the screen went black and all kinds of weird things are happening. You'd almost think it's lunacy. Well, maybe it is. We're going to talk a little bit about that tonight.
[00:04:20] Well, before we get going, we always have to do a disclaimer, and nothing in this show should be considered legal, medical, financial, or investment advice. Take what we say with a grain of salt and always do your own research and due diligence.
[00:04:37] We're not responsible for and expressly disclaim all liability for damages of any kind arising out of its use, reference to or reliance on any information contained in this broadcast. Any persons or characters mentioned are for the most part, fictional or as close to it as we can get. So sit back, relax and chill out. Go get yourself some popcorn and get something to drink. [00:05:17] We're kid friendly, too.
[00:05:21] Well, yeah, for the most part, we are. Hey, a lot of different stuff going on out there. And, boy, we do all kinds of stuff. Today. I had some stuff going on and I'm checking to set up the show and everything and getting the Trim radio network ready to go. And I always give a big shout out to the Trim radio network for carrying the show, whether or not it's money and change or whether or not it is my world. And they cover a lot of other shows, too.
[00:05:59] We have the fishing in Florida show with Riscala Stephen. We have life walk with Christ, God with Mike Behas. We have money and change. Every Sunday at 07:00 p.m.
[00:06:14] We have take point 22 radio show with Michael Behas. We also have the national Marketer podcast with Victoria Smith.
[00:06:25] We have my world, which is live life and whatever right here on the Trim radio network at 08:00 every Wednesday.
[00:06:35] We also have the band adventure waits around the band radio show and podcast. We also have Roscala's red pill reality show.
[00:06:47] Yeah, I'll tell you what Roscala says. Do you want to take the red pill or the blue pill? I want the green pill. He still hasn't been able to provide me with the green pill. But anyhow, coming soon, we've got the Nixie weekly music countdown.
[00:07:05] And if you want to be a part of the Trim radio network, all you have to do is message us. That's all you have to do. And we also tell you about suggested equipment for a new host. What you need to have, you can contact Victoria Smith.
[00:07:21] She's in charge of our marketing and she does an excellent job. But the big thing is buy the merch, as Michael says, buy the know the merchandise for every show and the network are available at our trim merch shop. And it's open twenty four seven. And you can pay by credit card or PayPal. And we'd be honored if you just purchase any of our merchandise and spread the word about trim. That's trim radio network, a digital radio station and video stream. Every purchase contributes to the station operation fund to allow us to upgrade and continue to grow in the future. And that's what we're doing. We're going to be adding some additional shows, and you can also access our archives. And that's easy to do. But buy a mug, buy a t shirt, buy a hoodie, buy a water bottle, all kinds of merchandise. And you want to check us out in the merch shop. Okay? So you have to do that. We've got some good stuff. And it really is good. It really is. There are even some mugs that change color. They're black. And then you put something hot in there and the lettering comes out. It's really neat. So you want to check that out.
[00:08:53] Also, we've got the university of Finley at ww findlay.edu. And I'll tell you what, the spring sports are doing quite well.
[00:09:06] And I'll tell you what, it's a good division two NCAA school.
[00:09:12] They have approximately 4500 students on the main campus. They have three campuses in Finley, Ohio, and that's the hazardous materials campus. They also have the main campus and also the equestrian and pre veterinary campus. And I'll tell you, it's a good school. It's in the top 100 colleges and universities in the United States.
[00:09:38] They have a very good reputation. They have excellent students, excellent professors, really good facilities, and it's a nice town to be in. Finley, Ohio is right off of I 75 and Route 224. So you want to check it out, the University of
[email protected].
[00:10:00] Also check out Rusty Duck's custom pens and blanks. They're on Facebook.
[00:10:07] And I had a big surprise today. I'm out getting something.
[00:10:11] I want to get a card for my mom, and I always do that every year, even though she has passed, I always get a card and I always get flowers and so forth. And her birthday is coming up on Thursday.
[00:10:30] No, Friday. Friday is no Thursday. It's the 7th.
[00:10:37] You think I could remember things? I've had too much going on this week. But anyhow, I went out to do that tomorrow. We're having a luncheon in her honor and we are going to go to a place called Bosco's.
[00:10:54] And they've got pretty good food over there, I will say that. And it's in Covington, Ohio. And so if you get a chance, you're in the neighborhood, go to Bosco's. It's pretty good food. And if you get there a little bit late for dinner, be prepared to stand in line.
[00:11:12] Okay. They also have a bakery there, too. It's a pretty good deal. But anyhow, we'll be honoring mom tomorrow at Bosco's. And it's always mom's birthday on the 7th. And we've either visited her when they were in Florida on vacation or when they later on stayed back here in Ohio. We always had a party and so forth. So tomorrow was mom's day, so I've got to participate in that.
[00:11:44] But rusty ducks custom pens, check him out because Phil over at rusty ducks custom pens and blanks really makes some good up. There's a trade show coming up and he's doing different types of cutting boards and charcuterie boards and different types of cheese cutters and so forth. He just doesn't do pens. I mean, this guy is a wizard. He really does some really decent stuff. So if your company needs a presentation pen for a customer or a good employee or potential customers, whatever, contact Phil on Facebook. Over at Rusty Ducks custom pens and blanks. That's R-U-S-T-Y-D-U-K apostrophe s.
[00:12:34] Custom pens and blanks. B-L-A-N-K-S.
[00:12:41] He does an excellent job. Michael and I both have pens made by Phil. We paid for them.
[00:12:47] He just doesn't give these things out because they are artfully crafted. They are beautiful. Everything he does is beautiful.
[00:12:57] Can't believe it.
[00:12:59] I've known him for years. Matter of fact, I was over there this last weekend. I stopped in, and he had a new baby, miniature dachshund. And I had to go see the dog.
[00:13:16] And of course, she's a sweetie.
[00:13:20] And he's trying to find a new home for, unfortunately, I can't have an animal where I live, even though I own the house.
[00:13:29] But anyhow, beautiful dog and had a good time. And then today I was at a place called dollar tree. Do you have them where you're know, there's the dollar store, there's the dollar tree. There's other branches of that, different varieties, about the same stuff.
[00:13:53] And I was in there, and I was in line, and I'm waiting to check out, and all of a sudden, somebody comes up and taps me on the back.
[00:14:02] And I turned around, and there's Phil's wife with bunny ears on.
[00:14:11] And I said, isn't this a little bit early? And she says, well, I'm going to surprise Phil on Easter. I'm going to dress up as a bunny. And I thought, oh, boy, this is going to be something else. And she was explaining what she was doing, and people up and down the line were laughing and having a good time.
[00:14:27] Jan's a character. Phil's wife is a really nice, really nice person. Great sense of humor. And so, anyhow, we were talking about what she was going to do, and, Phil, you're going to be surprised. Trust me, you will be surprised.
[00:14:46] Well, we do that. We talk about money and change every Sunday, and that's going to be at 07:00 p.m. And we're going to talk a lot about money and what's going on with your budget.
[00:15:01] Life is getting scary out there, guys, and I'll talk a little bit about it just in a little bit. Also, we've got the deep south homestead with Danny and Wanda King. The big family homestead with Brad and Krista. Those are on YouTube. Good shows. Southern prepper one with Dave Poebler. Check him out.
[00:15:23] You have to. Appalachia's homestead with Patara. You've got to check her out. There's the prepper princess with Amber Stork.
[00:15:34] How this gal can do what she does and she's a self made millionaire. But she lives very simply, and I think that's the key to becoming very wealthy.
[00:15:45] And she's something else. Really nice person. Also, you want to check out lds prepper David Gilmore. Fantastic person, very knowledgeable. He got me into, believe it or not, GMRS radios. And I keep talking about GMRS radios, and this one has the standard antenna on it. Normally when I get a radio, I put a Nagoya seven seven one g. That's for GMRS radio. A general mobile radio service radios. And I can talk basically with the Nagoya antenna. A total of 35 miles to my repeater. And then from there I can get out, I believe, up to 85 miles on that 900 foot tall tower.
[00:16:38] But anyhow, GMRS radios, I don't care what brand you get, just get a good one.
[00:16:43] While I'm holding here is an ocean. It's Wouxun, and it's a good radio. It's one of the better ones. It's 935 g plus.
[00:16:56] And there are other radios made by Tid, and Midland makes a few, and they're just all over the place. But check them out. $35 for a ten year license. No test. That's the best thing. No test. And so if you want to keep in touch with your family, when the Internet goes down, the phones don't work. Hey, these things work, okay? So you want to check it out.
[00:17:27] They're all different kinds of GMRS radios. But remember, there's no test on that license. Now, if you want to go and get a ham tech license, a technician's license, you can do that too. But there is a test, and it is a $35 fee for ten years. For that license, you have to know a little bit more stuff than you do with GMRs. But the good thing with the GMRS radio is the whole family can use it. With a ham radio, only the operator can use it. So if you're the licensed operator, you're the only one that can use it. Your kids can't touch it, your wife can't touch it.
[00:18:11] But if you have a GMRS radio, your whole family can use the radio.
[00:18:19] It's a pretty good deal. So you want to check it out? GMRS radios. Also with David Gilmore. He has over 600 videos on all different types of things.
[00:18:33] There was a certain type of mitt lighter gardening. It's hard to pronounce and hard to spell, but he basically did gardening in Houston, Texas, using some amended soil, some sawdust, some sand, and a special feet.
