[00:01:16] Speaker B: And I'm Rebecca Wanner, AKA Beck.
[00:01:18] Speaker A: Today is National Teacher Appreciation Day. So is there a teacher that as soon as I say that, this particular educator comes to mind?
[00:01:28] Speaker B: I have two. I have two. First one is my third grade teacher, Mrs. Wary. She was amazing. Why put it that way?
First off, because she had this caring personality and she's one of those I've been able to see throughout my entire life. And she always makes sure she comes over and says hi, gives me a hug. But she was my teacher while my mom was going through cancer when I was a kid. And so I think that's really what stands out is as you can imagine as a kid, going with their parents, going through cancer and such, it was a scary time and she really took care of me. I felt like.
[00:02:02] Speaker A: So that was number one third grade teacher. Okay. Your other teacher.
[00:02:05] Speaker B: My other teacher, Mrs. Lindeman, she was an amazing English teacher, but then she actually ended up being my advisor and some of the other extra curricular activities I was in. But she just has always been such a supporter and to this day, she's another one of those. I see her in passing and a big hug and it's just fun to see her.
[00:02:25] Speaker A: So when I think of teachers, there were so many in my life that were excellent. But I've told this story before about how when I was a junior in high school, I had a pizza delivered to my US History class.
[00:02:37] Speaker B: Yes. How in the world you got that done?
[00:02:38] Speaker A: I was a stinker in every way, shape and form. But yeah, I would. That was when I was retaliating. Also, I. I did. I had the local hot stuffed pizza from the gas station deliver a pizza to my US History class.
[00:02:53] Speaker B: Look at you, being the cool kid.
[00:02:54] Speaker A: Exactly. And I still got to be in the class anyway.
