Good day, everyone. Welcome to your short go daily dose of ranch it Up. I'm Jeff Tigger Earhart.
[00:01:29] Speaker B: And I'm Rebecca Wanner, AKA bec.
[00:01:31] Speaker A: Today has a little bit of nostalgia to it because today is National Vinyl Record Day. And I remember doing a number of auction sales of household auctions years ago, and you couldn't give away a box full of records for a buck. And now.
Yeah, completely changed.
[00:01:52] Speaker B: Absolutely. They've changed. That nostalgic item right there that's been sitting in your basement or up in the attic, get it out because it is worth some cha ching.
[00:02:01] Speaker A: It could be worth a lot of money for collectors.
[00:02:03] Speaker B: Look at this. Last year at Christmas, how many different artists came out and actually released their albums on vinyl records. And you could buy them at Walmart. Different places and people are using them.
[00:02:14] Speaker A: You can get core. You can get records at Walmart.
[00:02:18] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:02:18] Speaker A: Honey, I had no idea. I guess I haven't paid attention for around Christmas time.
[00:02:23] Speaker B: Okay, I'm saying around Christmas time, look for those unique nostalgic items.
[00:02:27] Speaker A: So does that mean that eventually maybe the cassette tape will come back?
[00:02:32] Speaker B: I think you can keep hoping on that one because in order for that to come back, you'd have to include a number two pencil that you sharpen so you can hand wind it well.
[00:02:40] Speaker A: And Walkman. So if vinyl records have made a comeback, are CDs gonna make a comeback? If you. Maybe cassettes won't but we'll see these.
[00:02:49] Speaker B: I don't know. We shall see what is old eventually. New again.
[00:02:53] Speaker A: Eventually. It's a refurbished maybe is the word that I'm looking for today.
