[00:00:39] Speaker A: Okay, coconut man. Moon heads and pee. You ready? Seems like everybody's got a price I wonder how they sleep at night when the sale comes first and the truth comes second just stop for a minute and smile. Why is everybody so serious, so damn mysterious? Got shades on your eyes and your heels so high that you can't even have a good time everybody looks to their left everybody looks to their right can you feel that? Yeah, we're paying with love tonight it's not about the money, money, money we don't need your money, money, money we just want to make the world forget about the price. [00:01:32] Speaker B: Hey, everybody, welcome to money and change, right here on the Trim radio network, better known as trimradio.com. and boy, do we have a lot of stuff to go over. First of all, I have to apologize for last week. Well, maybe I have to apologize. We didn't have a live one. Instead, we had an encore edition of money and change. And the reason why I was at Ohio University at homecoming. Yeah. Boy, was it a wild time. Fantastic party time in Athens, Ohio. You really have to check it out. It only happens once a year, boys, at a party. It is something else. And the Bobcats won their football game against the University of Akron. And of course, the marching 110 was on the field, and we had almost, I believe, a thousand or a little bit over a thousand musicians on the field. 550 plus were in the alumni band. Oh, it was awesome. One of these days, I will go ahead and put up the videos that I took from that, because it's a fun time in Athens, Ohio. And I'll tell you what, you better get your reservations in at least six months early to get a hotel room. You better get your tickets six months early or as soon as you can get them. I'll tell you what, it was a busy time down there and, oh, did it rain? Did you have rain where you were at? Boy, did it rain all last week? And then also going down to Athens, Ohio, on Friday? It rained all the way down till we got to Athens in the southern part of Ohio on the southeast section. And then it just stopped before the band practices. It's amazing. And then it stayed dry for a while. And then, of course, as soon as I left Athens and had to drive back up to a city known as Lancaster, I'll tell you what. Oh, it rained and rained and rained and rained. And I thought, well, the game's going to be a washout on Saturday. Turned around and it was wet until we got to Athens. Then there was no rain, and we had a very good parade, and it was a little bit cloudy, but I'll tell you what, a good time was had by all that attended the whole shindig, as we say here in the midwest. Well, anyhow, guys, welcome to money and change right here on the trim radio network. We have a disclaimer we have to do. So you got to hang on for that. And I had a friend of mine that does a local tv show down in Dayton, Ohio, and she was asking about doing her own show, and that's fantastic because she has a fantastic show. We love. We gladly love to bring her on board. Okay, so you want to check that one out and gee whiz, we've got other stuff going on, like the next one up here, if I can find the right button. And everything always changes on me. Everything changes. I got to stop this. I got to have other buttons put up here, Michael, that I'm talking to. Michael Bakehouse. A feasible. Anyhow, the money and change Facebook page. And you should be seeing that right now. And I'll tell you what, if you go there, a lot of information is posted there on the money and change Facebook page. And I've been updating things, and it's free to join. It's. It's interesting because there's a lot of information up there. I. Today I was looking about hurricane information and have a plan to evacuate and plan to shelter safely. Okay. And you can go to redcross.org. i just clicked like on that. So you want to check it out also, good buddy Dave and Dave Keebler and or Kobler. I want to call him Keebler. He's not an elfe Dave Kobler. I've known him for 15 plus years, and he does his own YouTube channel. And I'll tell you what, he's a fantastic guy. Very easy to talk to. He's down in South Carolina, up in the mountains, and actually over the hootenholler. That happens to be North Carolina. He's very close to North. North Carolina, even though he lives in South Carolina. Great guy. I mean, really great guy. Check him out. Oh, wow. Entire countries at risk in 32 days. You want to read that one or watch the video? That's a good one. Also stock up. It's stocktober. It's the month of October. Stock up and you can learn from the rogue prepper. And I'll tell you what, she does a good job on prepping and freeze drying and doing all kinds of stuff. And that's why she's calling it Stocktober. And I thought it was so important. I thought I would put that up there also. Crisis ahead. This is Rachel, better known as patriot nurse. And she does a fantastic job. Okay. You just have to check that out also. Oh, here's the party. Do you see the party in Athens, Ohio? I mean, that was the half time or not. Wasn't half time. That was the homecoming parade. Oh, was it a treat? It really was. And what you're looking at right there happens to be the Ohio University alumni band. And I was in the very first group that actually founded that band way back when. But can you imagine 550 people plus in this bandaiden? And plus, the fun time in Athens, Ohio was really great. And people lined the street and they threw candy and all kinds of stuff going on and they had a lot of good music. And so that's where I was. Well, anyhow, guys, let's get back to it. So much for Athens, ohio. You really have to check into it. Wow. I did a big shout out to trim radio network, and it's a great bunch of people. The University of Finley. [00:13:14] Speaker C: Hey. [00:13:14] Speaker B: Www.findley.edu. it's division two NCAA football, and the University of Finley is undefeated. That's like four and zero, you know, and they're very good. And plus, they've got, their women's golf team is really highly ranked. They've got other people out there, attract team and so forth. It's a good sports school. It really is. But they just don't be there for four sports. They have bachelor's, masters and doctoral degrees there. Great programs, great facilities, great professors. Kathy fell, oh, man, she is the president. Doctor Kathy fell. She is fantastic. And she's really done a lot to develop the university. Also, the University of Bluffton is going to merge with the University of Findlay. And it's this fall. It's probably happened by now. And you can take classes at either campus. Bluffton is about 20 miles away from Findlay, Ohio. Finley, Ohio, by the way, is an all american town. It's great town. About 35,000, 40,000 people. And I'll tell you what, it's great. I can't say enough about it because I went to school there, too, and they have a hazardous materials campus. They also have the equestrian campus and they do pre veterinary studies there as well as equestrian studies. And they also have the main campus with all of their other degrees and facilities. Very good. It's a very, very, very good school. Check him out. Www.findly.edu also, we have rusty ducks, custom pens and blanks. You have to check him out because if you need a custom pen that's made for your sorority, fraternity, school, college, university, business, or just for friends, contact Phil at Rusty ducks, custom pens and blanks. That's r u s t y d u k, apostrophe s, pens and blanks on Facebook. And he's done some fantastic work. Michael Bayhouse and I both have pens and oh, man, they're fantastic. They really are. He's got a second amendment pen that you would love to have. So you want to check that out. Rusty duck discussing pens and blanks. A big shout out, of course, to the big family homestead on YouTube. And that's Brad and Krista. And they're out in the middle of Wisconsin, out in cheese factory, out in the fields. They also have deep south homestead with Danny and Wanda King down in Wiggins, Mississippi. Good people. They're going to be doing another show, and it's going to be called pecan Grove. And so eventually, deep south homestead will kind of go by the wayside. And you won't have Pecan Grove, which is a new development that they're working on. And Danny always gives out porch time, and he talks about a lot of different things, so it's somebody to listen to. Also, Southern prepper one with Dave Koebler. We talked about Dave and being in South Carolina. He knows all about the floods. And he had his son actually go and help out with rescue efforts and so forth and supply efforts up in North Carolina. And Dave had to stay home because he had to take care of things there. He had a lot of people he had to take care of. So check them out, please. Southern prepper one. Also, patriot nurse. You saw Rachel's picture and she's. She's very good. She talks a lot about medical issues. She talks about other types of treatments, a whole host of things. Sometimes she even talks on the economy. So you got to check that out. Also, we've got the prepper princess, good old Amber stork. Boy, Amber, she's a self made millionaire. Yeah, self made millionaire. And you watch her videos on YouTube, and you will learn how you can possibly be a self made millionaire. Okay? It takes work. It takes time. Not everybody gets there. Also we have Ed Cardswell, the prepper. Prepper nurse one. And you have to check him out. He's down West Virginia, and I have not heard from him as far as the weather. And maybe he'll post something this week as to how the rain affected his location. And then we have David Gilmore, lds prepper. He has over 600 videos on YouTube about various different topics. One thing that you really need in the case of bad storms and communication, if the cell phones don't work, you have to get your GMRs radio. Hey, these things are great. This is a ocean wou x u n 935 g. And it's a five watt handheld. And it has a Nagoya 771 g antenna. With this radio, I can talk 35 miles. Of course, it depends on height and things in between. But I'll tell you what? This is a good radio. And I have fun talking to different friends, different places. And it's nice to have, especially in emergency. Anybody in your family can use this radio because for $35, you get a license. And that license is good for. For ten years. You just have to behave, follow the rules. But anybody in your family can have these radios and they can talk. You could talk to unit 12345 and how many you have in your family. Everybody can have a radio. You can stay in touch in an emergency. Okay? And so that's one thing to have. That's why I like GMRS radios. There's no test. All you do is get the radio, you apply for your license, and more than likely you'll receive your license the same day, as long as you pay the $35 fee. So, you know, check it out. It's worthwhile having in an emergency. Then we also have the max, m a c apostrophe s. I don't know what his first name is. I wish I could find out because he's an interesting guy. He really is. He talks a lot about a lot of different subjects. A lot of different subjects. Well, what else is going on? Well, actually, a whole lot. Oh, we've done our shopping. We've done our money and changed, but now I've got something else I got to play for you from North Carolina, because, you know, they had a lot of bad storms up there, and that hurricane did so much damage to North Carolina. And I've been listening to a lot of people, and they're talking about federal agencies not helping. And one thing about Tennessee and Kentucky and West Virginia and South Carolina and North Carolina, those people take care of their own. They really do. And they sometimes really don't appreciate outsiders not wanting to help, but they can do it themselves. But this was such a tragic thing with everything. We were talking in lodge the other night, and we said, look, we're going to donate some money, and we're going to do that from the lodge. Does anybody want to match that money? Well, we doubled the money because people donated out of their pockets to add to it. We actually doubled the funds. And so that went down to a masonic group down in North Carolina, and they have a special services group that they distribute funds for food and so forth down there. And so that was a direct money donation that was taking place. And a lot of other lodges are doing the same thing. And whether or not your eagles or your elks or, you know, whatever, donate. I mean, they're going to need a lot of money. And we'll get into that in just a little bit. But I'll tell you what, I've listened to so much stuff that has happened down there that really makes you wonder, does the federal government really want to help or do they just want to stand there for a photo op and then leave? I've heard a lot of stuff. You know, I heard Glenn Beck talking about it and his reaction, and he went down to see things. And I kind of take Glenn as being a very truthful person. I haven't caught him in a fib yet. Okay. Very truthful person. And so I listened to his show frequently, as well as many others, because I try to get research for the show to help people out, and that's what I want to do. I don't get paid for doing the show. I don't want to be paid for doing the show. Like I said, all donations go in and it pays for airtime. Okay. Wow. We've got something else to put up on the screen. And this is going to be from X. If I can get it. Let's see if we can get that. All these buttons I have to hit. Oh, it's something else. You gotta try it sometime. They say even a kid can do it. Yeah, I don't know about that. Anyhow, let's see what we can do. Here we go. Let's see what this North Carolinian has to say. Okay, let's see if we can get it going. [00:23:45] Speaker C: Pool is horrendous. It looks like a freaking bomb got set off over there, especially where Biltmore is. If you're headed towards Hendersonville, that whole area looks like a bomb has been set off. But guys, that's not what needs to be covered. I need this video to go viral. I need you. I'll share this. Share it and tag. And share. And tag. Get this out. I need this to reach as far west people. We have communities. We have people in these appalachian mountains right now. Right here in these appalachian mountains, we have brothers and sisters that are stuck, that are trapped. It has been seven days, seven days since Hurricane Helene hit the United States. We've got people trapped in these mountains, and people are asking where our military is. Our military can't do anything until the leader of this stupid country right now signs off on it. So our military is stuck. They cannot put boots on the ground. They cannot hide these appalachian mountains. They cannot rescue these people that are in these mountains that are stuck. They can't get to them. They can't do anything. Our military can't do anything because they will not sign the orders to release them. It is up to us american people, and we are doing everything we can. We got hit in Greek county. Our riverbank is gone, houses are gone. I need you all to understand, outside of these appalachian mountains, the news are not covering it. They're not telling what it's like. The county above us, Unicoi county, is the county you've seen all over the. All over the news where the people were on top of the hospital, had to be rescued. You saw how much water they had. That water came down to Greene county. You all have sound. Newport, Cock County. Dolly was there yesterday. Dolly Parton, she. That's where she done her press conference, where she released or she's donating $2 million. A million out of her pocketbook and a million out of her donation are out of her fun. Guys. East Tennessee and western North Carolina is a thousand times worse than the news has made it out to be. There is people. Let me. I need you all to understand, especially coastal states, you all that live in a state that is surrounded by the ocean, that it connects to the ocean. When you get hit with a hurricane, yours involves an ocean. That ocean comes in, it floods you, but it sucks back out. You are still left with your buildings, you're still left with your homes. To be able to go in and see if you can salvage anything. Okay? You're left with that. These people aren't left with that. These people don't even have a structure to go back to to see if they can save anything. These people don't have anything to go back to. Don't look at it is a concrete slab and it's here, and it's in unicorn, and it's in Cock county, and it's across that state line in North Carolina. And I'm going to tell you now, North Carolina is so much worse than anywhere. Those mountain towns there, you've got to understand, people live off grid for a reason. They want to keep talking about the death toll. They want to keep comparing this hurricane to Katrina and the death toll. I'm here to tell you now, and I've told other people, and I've talked to news stations, and I'm telling you, this death toll, this death toll will blow Katrina out of the water. There is people, we don't even know who was on those appalachian mountains hiking them. There is people that live off grid for a reason. We have no idea how many people lived in those mountains. We don't know how many homeless people had camps set up in those mountains. I can tell you now where I live. There was homeless kids camp set up all along the river, along the river. And now they're gone. And we don't even know if the homeless made it out. We don't know if they're alive. We don't know anything, people. We don't know. You need to understand, there are bodies washing up. This ain't a joke. There is counties in North Carolina that don't have enough body bags. They have already filled thousands. There is one county in particular. They've done filled a thousand in their begging for more because they don't have anymore. Please do not compare this hurricane to Katrina. Don't even compare what Florida got from Hurricane Helene. Do not compare what they got compared to East Tennessee in western North Carolina. Because I'm going to tell you now, we're not the same. We are not the same. People have asked, why were we not prepared. You can't prepare for something that has never happened. It's the same as asking Florida, why are you not prepared for a blizzard? Because a blizzard has never happened in Florida. We are. I am in Tennessee. I do not connect to an ocean. There is no reason that we should have had that much damage. Have we ever been flooded by hurricanes? Yes, but nothing like what we just endured. You've got to understand, we didn't have an ocean that come in and then suck back out. We had. [00:28:38] Speaker B: Yeah. That's how bad it is. And I'll tell you what, every time I watch that thing, you get teary eyed. Okay? Because you really feel for those people. Well, that's part of the stuff that we're going to talk about tonight. And I'll tell you what, there's just so many different things out there that are going on. It's just something. And what do you do? The only thing you can do is kind of help things out as best as you can. Donate, donate, donate. Well, anyhow, guys, what I've got next is an article that came up and you can see it. Helene is already one of the deadliest, costliest storms to hit the US. And where does it rank? Well, according to this article in USA Today, from Fernando Cervantes and Dinah Voyles pulverized. They said as of Monday, Hurricane Helene has already claimed more than 100 lives. It's going to be worse than that. It really is. It is going to be really worse than that. 100 counted so far, and I heard today was like, 200. It's going to be worse than that. Based on what that lady said. Yeah, it's going to be, it's going to be bad. And Helena is considered to be one of the deadliest hurricanes to make landfall in mainland United States in the modern era. And you've got Carolinas, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee have reported deaths from deadly storms. And as communities struggle to get back on their feet after the storm, hundreds are still missing, probably thousands are probably missing. Buncombe county in North Carolina alone has reported 35 deaths. Well, that's going to be more. This is what I found on Yahoo. Trying to look at things. And they were going through the different storms like Katrina in 2005. You know, they had three landfalls and Keating Beach, Florida, and two near Buress, Louisiana, along the Louisiana Mississippi border. Death, 1392, and the damage was $125 billion. That's a lot of money. That's a lot of money. Well, we've got other things, too. I was thinking about, well, how do we prepare for hurricanes? And I said, let's see if I can get that information and I'll put that up on the screen because there's another hurricane coming. It's actually Hurricane Milton. And so you need to check on that. So I've got this up on the screen, and it's also on our money and change slice, financially prepped Facebook page. This is from the American Red Cross. There are two pages there and just want to go over them briefly and what to do before the hurricane hits. Make plans to stay safe, be safe. Know where your places of refuge are. If you're in a low valley and they tell you to evacuate, evacuate, get the heck out of Dodge. And so one of the things that they say is if advised to evacuate, do so immediately and you may have to leave your home quickly and go to a safe place. Well, what do you take with you? Do you have a go bag or get out of dodge bag? And what do you put in there? Those bags are important. You would have maybe a flash drive with your insurance information, copy of birth certificates, death certificates, whatever. And keep that in a watertight pouch. Also batteries, flashlights, first aid kits, maybe a few changes of clothes, water, emergency food, maybe have a good knife. You never know what you're going to need. There are places you can look on Facebook and places you can look on the web or on YouTube, and they'll show you how to put together a to go bag, an emergency bag. Now, I keep one in my car for bad weather. And it's a red bag, easy to find. It's got everything in there, plus things to keep you warm in the winter. It's got some extra food I don't keep water in there. I put water. I take that with me. Okay. I have ways to keep warm and everything else, so it's a good thing to have. Now in summertime months, I really don't have one in there, but if I had to take that as an emergency thing, yeah, I'd take that. And I have a to go bag, too. It's a backpack. You can put it on your back. You've got all your information stuff in there, plus you've got, you know, your emergency food, you know, whatever. And it's a good thing to have. You want to plan well in advance. I mean, if you have a two day warning that Uncle Milti is going to surprise you in Florida, you can get ready in two days. Okay? Mobile homes, manufactured trailer homes, and recreational vehicles are not safe in high winds. So you want to plan ahead and make sure that it's tied down, make sure your windows are covered, and do that before you leave. Plan to shelter safely, you know, be ready to live without power, water, gas, phone and Internet. For a long time. Now, Elon Musk was putting up Starlink, and so that will eventually be able to go up and people will be able to counter each other. But I'll tell you what, you get on a high antenna with one of these GMRS radios, I'm going to tell you right now, that's going to help in your communications, okay? And with backup batteries or an ability to charge things up, that's a good thing, too. Okay? Also, plan to stay connected. Sign up for free emergency alerts from your local government. Plan to monitor local weather news. Have a weather radio, an emergency weather radio, and plenty of batteries. Have a battery powered radio, and they have some with cranks. Understand the types of alerts. Like what? What's a watch? What's a warning? Okay. I don't think they have one for get out of Dodge anyhow. Learn emergency skills. You know, how good are you at first aid? How good you CPR? Okay? Be ready to live without power utilities and so forth. I know in our local case, we had our local power company where I live sent four people, and you say that's only four people. Yeah. But if every power company in Ohio sent four people, there'd be a lot of people down in North Carolina. And these guys were some of the top linemen that we have, and they volunteered to take a couple of the trucks and head south. And they're down there now repairing lines, okay. Overhead wires and so forth, putting in transformers and so forth. They're very good guys. I know them, and trust me, they are good. Well, gather your emergency supplies. Food, water, medicine stores and pharmacies might be close, so make sure you have your meds. You want to have a go kit, at least three days of supplies that you can carry with you. Include backup batteries and chargers for your devices and so forth. Stay at home. Well, you have a stay at home kit for at least two weeks of supplies. And you know what I like to do? You get these buckets at Home Depot, the lids, and you can put stuff in there, then put the lid on, and it stores practically forever. Something to have, okay? Blankets, extra clothes, whatever. It's a good thing to have for a stay at home kit, have a one month supply of medication in a child proof container and medical supplies or equipment, and keep personal, financial, and medical records safe and easy to access. And that's one thing that we have. I think we call them thumb drives. Okay, I'll show you one of those in a minute. Protect your home from the wind. Secure. Bring in things from outside so it doesn't blow around. Trash cans and stuff like that. Anchor your objects that be unsafe, like gas grills, propane tanks, especially propane tanks. You don't want those flying around. That's a bomb. Also, trim or remove trees close enough to fall on your home. In some cases, you can't do that very quickly. That's a long term type project. Protect your home from flood, clean out drains, gutters, downspouts, stockpile protective materials like plastic sheeting and sandbags. Well, I have plastic tarps, the blue plastic tarps, and I put those on store or in storage. I've got, I think, about three or four sets. And if I have a leak in the roof or whatever, I can use that. I can make a shelter out of it, too. Also, if the local authorities say, get out of dodge, hey, go get your go kit and follow the evacuation rules, okay? Keep your radios on in the car and so forth, and figure out what protection you need for high winds and flooding. But above all, stay safe, okay? Stay healthy. And afterwards, you know, when you go, come back home and things are in the refrigerator or if you've been there without power for basically 24 hours, if you don't open the refrigerator door, you'll be able to store things that way for problem for probably 24 hours also. But when in doubt, throw it out. Okay. You can check with your healthcare provider or doctor about refrigerated medicines, usually with things like insulin. Some things can go unopened for a week. I believe but you want to check with your doctor on that. Hurricanes and flooding make drinking water unsafe. So you want to be able to purify water. You want to be able to store water. Hey, it sounds familiar, doesn't it? It's something I've been preaching for ten years, like, remember this one? Pay down your debt, put some money aside, buy some long term food, stock up on medicines, make sure that you can purify and store water. Have clothes for the season, have emergency shelter. Okay? Remember, we always talk about that in the show, but you take care of yourself. Okay. Make sure you have soap so you can keep your hands clean, you know, and clean and disinfect everything that got wet. And while cleaning heavy debris, debris, you know, work with a partner, make sure you have gloves on the get out and get plenty of fresh air. That's important. They don't stress that enough. Fresh air helps a lot because you have that musty mold and stuff build up in a house. So anyhow, that's the information that I've got there, guys. So, so much information out there. And you can, you can easily check it out. Wow. What else is going on? Toxic exposure, if my mouth would work. Okay. Toxic exposure. And we've got that to come. Let me get that posted because you need to know about toxic exposure. Hopefully I can get it here on my list. Oh, no, it disappeared. Oh, my goodness. It's not there. Holy cow. It took it off. Anyhow, guys, with toxic exposure, I'm going to put this one up with toxic exposure. Make sure you get plenty of fresh air. Don't drink polluted water. Make sure that if you have bottled water, use that hurricane tracker, Milton. This is the next one that's supposed to come in and it's out in the Gulf of Mexico right now. The way it's looking right now, it's going towards Tampa, Florida. I know I have friends in Tampa. So, guys, if you're listening, Milton is projected to strengthen to a category three and it's set to make landfall in Florida. Okay. It could diminish. I hope it does. I hope it gets at least a category one or just fizzles out altogether because I've been through a category one in Florida at Clearwater beach. It's nothing to experience. Okay. You don't want it? I mean, I was stranded on my little island for a couple of days before the water subsided and I could get to the mainland to the airport and find out that I missed my flight and I had to schedule another one and go to Dallas, Texas, and then fly up to Dayton, Ohio. And then from there I had to go to Columbus, Ohio because I had a meeting in Columbus. It was not a good time. Okay. Well, anyhow, in an advisory Sunday evening, the National Hurricane center meteorologist said Milton is traveling across the central and eastern Gulf of Mexico towards Florida. Okay. So they may possibly have to evacuate over 6 million residents while still cleaning up the devastation left by Hurricane Helene. Okay. And they were talking about different places and they said Milton was located 275 miles west northwest of Progreso, Mexico. And it was about 805 miles west southwest of Tampa. And the storm had maximum sustained winds of 85 miles an hour. I was in one. That was 110 miles an hour, which is the lowest end of the category one. And I want to tell you something. When you see lawn chairs and so forth fly by your window at eye height going out into Gulf Boulevard, that kind of perks your interest. Okay? So the way it's going right now, it looks like it's going to hit Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa, Clearwater in that area, maybe even Dunedin in Florida. And then it's supposed to go back out. It looks like 01:00 p.m. wednesday it hits the coast and then by 01:00 p.m. thursday it's out into the Atlantic. Okay. 01:00 p.m. friday it's out in the kind of like towards Bermuda. Okay. And I think. I think you can see it here. Yeah, there it is. And so you can see the map. So if you live in the Dunedin area, Clearwater area, Tampa, St. Pete, Bradenton, gee whiz, Sarasota. I would even say Venice. I would watch what's going on there. I really would. And that's an important thing. Okay. Wow. Let's see what else is going on here. Well, I'm talking about hurricanes. I'm not really talking about money. Oh, I'll tell you what. Money, money, money. And we always talk about money. And think of the cost of that thing. Billions, if nothing, maybe a trillion in damages, not only to Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia plus Florida. I mean, that's going to be a mess. And you got elections coming up, too. Hey, your vital information. Here's a sandisk. Okay? Remember those little thumb drives? You press that little fancy button, this little thing comes out on the end and you store stuff out of your computer. Okay? Or else you can take things, get it plasticized, put it in a plastic bag and make sure you have it in your to go kit and maybe also your stay at home kit, too. Okay. Something to be concerned about there. What else is up? The national debt clock. I don't know if I, if I can access this or not because this program keeps messing things up and I sure as heck don't see it. Oh, no, it's not there. It's, I'll tell you what, it just kills me. There's just not enough space, I guess. I don't know. Well, anyhow, a big thing here. I found this today. Should Social Security payments be taxed? And it was written by Brenton Smith on zero Hedge. And they said back in August, former President Donald Trump issued a proclamation to voters on truth. Social seniors should not pay tax on Social Security. Why? Because it's our money. We've already paid it, so why pay taxes on it again? It's tax on tax on tax on tax on tax. I think that's the way the american system is, isn't it? We're taxed to death. We really are. So that's something to consider. Also. I don't know if I get national debt clock. Some things I put up here, it's hard to find. Once I get going here. Let's see if I got the national debt clock because I had that. Because we're $35 billion. I'm sorry, billion. No, trillion dollars in debt. $35 trillion in debt. And it's climbing. Why? Because the government spends too much money. By golly, it. Oh, there it is. Well, we'll just put that up there. We're in debt, guys. $35,681,000,000,000. $613 million in flying the debt per citizens. $105,722. I don't know about you, but I don't have that on hand. Debt per taxpayer is $271,188. Why? Because the federal government spends your money like it's going out of style. They don't know when to quit. Quits from spending. A drunken sailor knows when to stop spending because he runs out of money. I'm sorry for picking on drunken sailors. Maybe drunken marines, maybe drunken army guys, I don't know. Maybe the air force guys, they use a credit card. I don't know. But take a look at the us debt clock.org. it's important that you know what's there. And it has a lot of data and it's real time data. So you want to check it out? Okay. All right. Enough plug for that. And I'm not really plugging it, but I'll tell you what, it really sobers you up. Okay. Might even cause you to drink. I don't know, wow. Have you ever gambled? Have you ever gambled? Guess what the IR's has said. And this is an article that was in zero hedge. It was by Tom Ozemick from epoch times. He said, iR's vowels. Tax enforcement crackdown after audit reveals $1.4 billion in unpaid taxes from gambling winnings. Now, don't you fill out those little forms when you gamble. There's a tax form you have to fill out. If it's over. I believe it's $999. They don't mess with anything less than that, I guess. Fill out the tax forms. Now, the IR's is saying, we want your money. Where are they going to send it? They want to send it over to Ukraine. Do they want to pay for hotels, for illegals? Maybe with extra room service? I don't know. They're spending your money like it's going out of style. But yet the feds have not really spent anything on the people in America. The citizens who are hurting FEMA. Oh, they're there for photo ops. They're probably not doing anything right now. They're telling people that they will arrest them for going in and trying to help. Sounds like it's un american to me. If Samaritan's purse is there and a bunch of other people will need to help, and truckers are bringing in all kinds of stuff, and the feds are saying, no, you come in here, we will arrest you. We'll confiscate all of your food. We'll confiscate your money. That's not good, you know? And then they want to give out $750. Just $750 coming from the prez saying, we'll give you $750 because of your problems. Read the fine print. Somebody did, and it was only a loan, and it had to be paid back to the government in one year. If not, they took your land. According to this person that was on twitter x. I have a problem with that. Don't lie to me. Don't try to cheat me out of my money because I'm not going to try to cheat you out of yours. Okay? But if you're gambling and you haven't paid your taxes, be upfront. Pay your taxes. Okay. Wow. What else is going on? I get so upset with all this stuff that's going on in Tennessee and the lack of federal assistance, a timely federal assistance. They knew this was coming. They didn't prep for it. People in the hills, I don't know if they knew what was going on or not. Well, I hate to play this one more time, guys. But I'm going to play a little bit more. And if you can donate, go to a church, go to a social agency, whatever, a nonprofit, and go ahead and donate. Just make sure it goes directly there. Here she is again. And I'm going to play it. [00:54:11] Speaker C: That's not what needs to be covered. I need this video to go viral. I need you all share this. Share it and tag. And share and tag. Get this out. I need this to reach as far west people. We have communities. We have people in these appalachian mountains right now. Right here in these appalachian mountains, we have brothers and sisters that are stuck. That are trapped. It has been seven days, seven days since Hurricane Helene hit the United States. We've got people trapped in these mountains. And people are asking where our military is. Our military can't do anything until the leader of this stupid country right now signs off on it. So our military is stuck. They cannot put boots on the ground. They cannot hide these appalachian mountains. They cannot rescue these people that are in these mountains, that are stuck. They can't get to them. They can't do anything. Our military can't do anything because they will not sign the orders to release them. It is up to us, american people, and we are doing everything we can. We got hit in Greek county. Our riverbank is gone. Houses are gone. I need you all to understand, outside of these appalachian mountains, the news are not covering it. They're nothing telling what it's like. The county above us, Unicoi county, is the county you've seen all over the. All over the news, where the people were on top of the hospital, had to be rescued. You saw how much water they had. That water came down to Greene county. You all have sold Newport Cock County. Dolly was there yesterday. Dolly Parton, she. That's where she done her press conference, where she released or she's donating $2 million, a million out of her pocketbook and a million out of her donation are out of her funeral. Guys, East Tennessee and western North Carolina is a thousand times worse than the news has made it out to be. There is people, let me. I need you all to understand, especially coastal states, you all that live in a state that is surrounded by the ocean, that it connects to the ocean. When you get hit with a hurricane, yours involves an ocean. That ocean comes in, it floods you and I, but it sucks back out. You are still left with your buildings. You're still left with your homes. To be able to go in and see if you can salvage anything. Okay? You're left with that these people aren't left with that. These people don't even have a structure to go back to to see if they could save anything. These people don't have anything to go back to. To look at it is a concrete slab, and it's here and it's in unicorn and it's in Cock county and it's across that state line in North Carolina. And I'm going to tell you now, North Carolina is so much worse than anywhere. Those mountain towns there, you've got to understand, people live off grid for a reason. They want to keep talking about the death toll. They want to keep comparing this hurricane to katrina and the death toll. I'm here to tell you now, and I've told other people and I've talked to news stations, and I'm telling you, this death toll, this death toll will blow Katrina out of the water. There is people, we don't even know who was on those appalachian mountains hocking them. There is people that live off grid for a reason. We have no idea how many people lived in those mountains. We don't know how many homeless people had camps set up in those mountains. I can tell you now where I live, there was homeless camps set up all along the river. All along the river. And now they're gone. And we don't even know if the homeless made it out. We don't know if they're alive. We don't know if anything. [00:57:51] Speaker B: Yeah, it isn't a joke. If you can donate and help out, please do, because those people need help. Okay with that, guys, that's all I've got for this week's money and change. Next week we'll have another live edition of money and Change right here on Trim radio network, better known as trimradio.com. and you can check us out and listen to our replays and our archives and everything else on our other shows, please. Okay, we'll see you next week. And if you're down in North Carolina and you're listening to the show, hey, helps coming. You just got to hang in there. The rest of us, we got to prepare for anything. See ya. [00:59:02] Speaker A: Happiness. Can we all slow down and enjoy right now? Guarantee we'll be feeling all right everybody look to the laughter everybody looks on their right can you feel that? Yeah we're paying with love tonight it's not about the money, money, money we don't need your money, money, money we just want to make the world dance forget about the pride day ain't it bother to change? Ain't it bother? Yeah, bubbling, bubbling wanna make the world day forget about the price tag. [00:59:40] Speaker C: We'll keep the price tag and take the cash back. Just give me six strings extreme, and you can keep the cars. [00:59:47] Speaker A: Leave me the garage and all I. [00:59:49] Speaker C: That's all I need are keys and guitars and it's within 30 seconds. I'm leaving tomorrow.
