Good day everyone and welcome to your short go daily dose of Ranch it up. I'm Jeff Tigger Earhart.
[00:01:16] Speaker B: And I'm Rebecca Wanner, AKA Beck.
[00:01:18] Speaker A: Kind of reminiscing about the sunny slopes long ago of what it was like to be a kid. Today is National Kindergarten Day and you got any memories of what it was like when you were just a wee one, just a little back running around.
[00:01:33] Speaker B: So are we talking about like kindergarten? Yeah, what you're asking about kindergarten. Okay, so back in the day, and this isn't allowed anymore, the school that I went to kindergarten at, we were actually put in the basement of the school. I'm not even making this up.
[00:01:48] Speaker A: So why is that not allowed anymore?
[00:01:50] Speaker B: Well, because of fires. Okay. It wasn't exactly probably the most safest place, but I remember as a kid and little kindergartner when I first started and going, wow, we're in the basement. Like no one else is in the basement. And if anyone knows kids, it's kind of scary when you're told you got to be in the basement of a really old school.
[00:02:12] Speaker A: So how many kids were in your kindergarten class?
[00:02:14] Speaker B: If you remember that my kindergarten class was at a different school than where I graduated. That one was a little bigger. So I think we had almost 20 kids.
[00:02:22] Speaker A: So we had a little over 40. So we had two. Well compared to yours. So we, we had two different kindergarten groups. So it took me a long time to go through grade school to meet all the other kids in my grade. Right, but how many kids in kindergarten start a gang? This guy did.
[00:02:43] Speaker B: You did.
[00:02:44] Speaker A: I started a gig.
[00:02:45] Speaker B: In fact, were you called the Crayon Gang?
[00:02:47] Speaker A: No, we didn't have a name, but we just. I started a gang. In fact, I need to. I need to reach out to Byron because he was in the opposing gang in kindergarten.
