Good day everyone. Welcome to your short go daily dose of ranch it up. I'm Jeff Tigger Earhart.
[00:01:15] Speaker B: And I'm Rebecca Wanner, AKA Beck.
[00:01:18] Speaker A: If your climate is kind of like ours, I mean the heat is barreling on and I mean it is getting rather warm here just for smack dab in the middle of May and yet.
[00:01:28] Speaker B: We still could end up with a frost. It's so crazy.
[00:01:31] Speaker A: It is crazy. We haven't mowed the grass yet either because we're extremely dry where we're at. So we don't have to kind of get to those summer chores. But maybe where you are at, you have to start doing that and you have to start taking care of the lawns or whatever the case is. Maybe you're fixing fence like us doing that too. Today is national do something good for your neighbor day.
And I hate it that we got to actually have a national day just to remind us of this. But what a perfect time. It's a Friday.
Maybe go over to the neighbors, grab a six pack or not and maybe a deck of cards, play some pinochle. Maybe if you're mowing your lawn, maybe you mow theirs too.
Just something like that.
[00:02:11] Speaker B: People out doing some yard work. Maybe you're driving by, you see a branding going on, whatever it might be. There you go. Here's your reason to have a cooler along with a couple of extra maybe beers or other drinks or even a cola. A soda, whatever it is. But just stop for two seconds and be neighborly. Say, hey, want to drink?
[00:02:29] Speaker A: Stopping at the neighbors.
[00:02:30] Speaker B: How are you doing? Just check in on.
[00:02:32] Speaker A: We used to do that. You'd see people in the field all the time planting.
[00:02:35] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:02:36] Speaker A: And you'd stop or when they would. You'd wait at the end of the field when they had to turn around and you'd visit for a little bit. I miss those times when we would do that.
[00:02:44] Speaker B: Absolutely. Swing in and say hi to those neighbors and maybe offer them a drink.
[00:02:48] Speaker A: And if you do the timing just right, it may be around supper time or something like this. Who knows, you might be able just be able to score a free meal.
