Welcome to your short go daily dose of ranch it up. I'm Jeff Tigger Earhart. [00:01:19] Speaker D: And I'm Rebecca Warner, AKA Back. [00:01:21] Speaker B: I haven't really had the opportunity to go down the costume aisle this year to see what are kind of the popular costumes that people are trying to dawn this year. But I remember when I was a kid, I mean a lot of times a costume, it was just that plastic suit you wore. [00:01:37] Speaker D: You got a button, you got one that was bought. [00:01:39] Speaker B: We had a little plastic mask where it was this just plastic bag and it looked like Spider man or something. [00:01:45] Speaker D: You got a costume that was purchased. [00:01:47] Speaker B: A couple times I did. But then we had to make our own costumes. Like I was Indiana Jones one year. Okay, I was a pheasant hunter one year. I pretty sure I was a FBI agent. [00:01:58] Speaker D: Actually. I know for a fact that I've never gotten a boughten Halloween costume. [00:02:02] Speaker B: You never even got with those plastic ones where it was just a plastic suit that they were really no, seriously, no. And the plastic mask that would cut your eyes and my mom would pick. [00:02:12] Speaker D: Up those maybe at a rummage sale for us to play with during the summer. But they were usually you played with them and they broke right away. So no. But I had a mom that liked to make or she would attempt to make Halloween costumes. However, then that costume got worn for the next three to four years. [00:02:27] Speaker B: But your mom is extremely creative, though, and she's pretty darn handy. So I would imagine if your mom was making those costumes. Costumes, they were probably pretty cool. [00:02:35] Speaker D: I do have to brag on her because about 10 years ago, I had a nephew that decided he wanted to be a billy goat, and she legitimately made him a billy goat costume, and he actually looked like a goat. [00:02:47] Speaker B: Okay, that's awesome that your mom will do that. Well, regardless if it's a homemade costume or maybe you go to the thrift store. That's an idea for costumes. Go to the thrift store.
