We'd love to hear it. Anyway, folks, here's where we're at. So last time that we talked, we were talking about John. We are in the book of John. And John is so just. He sees everything. And he was sent here on purpose to pave the way, to make the road straight for Christ. And that's one of the great things John is. Hey, here I am. And the one who comes after me. I'm not even worthy to unlatch his shoes. John is just awesome. So we are on chapter seven. We are on verse 25. Christ's origin from the father then said some of them of Jerusalem, is not this he whom they seek to kill? But, lo, he speaketh boldly and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that he is the very Christ? How be it we know this man once he is? But when Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is. They don't know him. They haven't figured it out. And this is why I say, and I've said this before, they've missed the boat of Christ. God being there. He could tell them anything, and they're not going to believe it. But they're believing, as we learned prior. Well, you know of Moses's scriptures. You've read it and you believe that. But here I am right in front of you, and you do not believe me. You could see me, but you're not perceiving me. You could hear me talk and see the miracles I'm doing. You're not understanding. Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, ye both know me, and ye know whence I am, and I am not come of myself. But he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. But I know him, for I am from him, and he hath sent me. And again he's telling them. He's telling him, listen, God sent me, and you want to say you know God. If you don't know me, then you don't know God. Then they sought to take him, but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come. And many of the people believed on him and said, when Christ cometh, he will do more miracles than these which this man hath done. The Pharisees heard that the people murmured such things concerning him. And the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him. Then Jesus said unto them, yet a little while I am with you. And then I go unto him that sent me, you shall seek me, and you shall not find me. And where I am, thither ye cannot come. Then he said, the Jews among themselves, whither he will go, that we shall not find him? Will he go unto the dispersed among the Gentiles and teach the Gentiles, what manner of saying is this? That he said, ye shall seek me and shall not find me? And where I am, thither ye cannot come. And Christ revealed. Now here we are. Now we're on verse 37. Christ reveals the living water. In the last day, that great day of the feast. Jesus stood and cried, saying, if any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. He that believeth on me. As the scripture hath said. Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this he spoke of the spirit which they that believe on him should receive. For the Holy Ghost was not yet given. Because Jesus was not yet glorified. See, it wasn't his time to give up his ghost and to get the Holy Spirit. It wasn't that time yet. So Israel's divided over Christ. Many of the people, therefore, when they heard this saying, said of a truth, this is a prophet. Others said, this is the Christ. But some said, shall Christ come out of Galilee? Have not the scripture said that Christ cometh of the seed of David. And out of the town of Bethlehem where David was? So there was a division among the people because of him. And some of them would have taken him. But no man laid hands on him. Then came the officers to the chief priests and the Pharisees. And they said unto him, why have we not brought him? And the officers answered, never a man spoke like this man. Then answered the Pharisees, are ye also deceived? Have any of the rulers of the Pharisees believed on him? But his people, who knoweth not the laws, are cursed. Nicodemus said unto them, he came to Jesus by night. Being one of them, doeth our law. Judge any man before it. Hear him and know what he doth. They answered and said unto him, art thou also of Galilee? Search and look for out of Galilee. Out of Galilee arises no prophet. And every man went unto his own house. No matter what is said at this time, he's in his own land, and nobody is going to believe him. He has given them miracles. He has shown them so many great things, and nobody is believing him. And the Pharisees listen, they don't care. They don't want their power taken away. And that's really what this comes down to. They're afraid of him, and they should be. Understand? What they're doing is they're following the scriptures and everything but Christ. What they're not understanding is he's right there in front of them. God's son. So here we are. Chapter eight. A woman is caught in adultery. Jesus went into the Mount of Olives. And in the early morning he came again into the temple. And the people came unto him. And he sat down and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery. And they had set her in the midst. They say unto him, master, this woman was taken in adultery in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned. But what sayest thou? Again they are trying to test him. Always trying to test Jesus. That's what they're doing. Never mind what is right or wrong. They are trying to test him. Anything to try to disprove him. So this they said, tempting him, and what might have to accuse him. But jesus stopped, stooped down. And with his finger wrote on the ground as he thought he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted himself up, and he said to him, he that was without sin among you. Let him first cast a stone at her. Again he stooped down and rode on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own consciences. Went out one by one. Beginning at the eldest, even unto the last. And Jesus was left alone. And the woman standing in the mists. And when Jesus had lifted himself up and saw no one but the woman, he said unto her, woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee? She said, no man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more. See, that's the beauty of Christ. He wasn't coming here to condemn the world. He was coming here to save us. That's what he did for her. No one, he said, neither do I condemn thee. Go and sin no more. I love you. You made a mistake. You're forgiven. Go and sin no more. Now here we are. Verse twelve, chapter eight. Then Jesus spoke again and said unto them, I am the light of the world. He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life, the truth, the light. The Pharisees therefore said unto him, thou bearest record of thyself. Thy record is not true. And Jesus answered and said to him, though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true. For I know whence I came and whither I go. But ye cannot tell whence I came and whither I go. Ye judge after the flesh. I judge no man. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true. For I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself. And the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. Then they said unto him, where is thy Father? Jesus answered, ye neither know me nor my father. If you had known me, ye should have known my father also. These words spoke Jesus in the treasury as he taught in the temple. And no man laid hands on him, for his hour was not yet come. Then Jesus again said again unto them, I go my way, and you shall seek me and shall die in your sins. Whether I go, you cannot come. Then said the Jews, will he kill himself? Because he said, whether I go, ye cannot come. And he said to them, ye are from beneath. I am from above. Ye are of this world. I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you that ye shall die of your sins. For if you believe not that I am he, then ye shall die in your sins. Then they said unto him, who art thou? And Jesus said unto them, even the same that I said unto you from the beginning. I have many things to say and to judge of you. But he that sent me is true. And I speak to the world. Those things which I have heard of him. They understood not that he spoke to them of the father. Then Jesus said to him, when ye lifted up the son of man, then shall ye know that I am he and that I do nothing of myself. But as the father has taught me, I speak these things, and he that sent me is with me. Thy father hath not left me alone. For I do always those things that please him. As he spoke these words, many of them believed on him. Then Jesus said to those Jews which believed on him, if you continue in my word, then ye are my disciples indeed. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, when we be Abraham's seed. And we will never in bondage to any man. How sayest thou? Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, verily, verily, I say unto you, whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house forever, but the son abideth forever. If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I know that ye are Abraham's seed. But ye seek to kill me because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my father. And ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said unto them, if ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God this did not Abraham, ye do the deeds of your father. Then they say to him, we be born of fornication. We have one father even God. Jesus said to him, if God were your father, ye would love me. For I proceedeth forth and came from God. Neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do you not understand my speech? Even because you cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father's the devil. And the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in truth. Because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own. For he is a liar and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you conceiveth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do you not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words. Ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. Then answered the Jews and said unto him, say we not well, that thou art a samaritan and hast a devil. And Jesus answered, they're basically saying, you're evil. You have a devil in you. And listen to what he's saying. I have not a devil, but I honor my father. And ye do dishonor me, and I seek not my own glory. There is one that seeketh the judgment. Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. Then said the Jews unto him, now we know that you hast the devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets. And thou sayest, if a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. Thou art greater than our father Abraham, which is dead, and the prophets are dead. Who makest thou thyself? Jesus answered, if I honor myself, my honor is nothing. It is my father that honoreth me. Of whom ye say, he is your God. Yet ye have not known him. But I know him. And if I should say I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you, but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. And he saw it and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, thou art not yet 50 years old. And hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am. I am. I have been here longer than Abraham. I have been here longer than Adam and Eve. I have been here from the beginning. What part aren't you getting? What aren't you understanding? And they're trying to do this up in years from how long ago Abraham was. They're not understanding. You're looking at God. If you're telling me. You can't recognize me. You are seeing. Yes, I am his son in the flesh, but God is in me. I am in God. You are seeing God. Look at me. I'm telling you the truth. I am the way. I am the truth. I am the way. I am the light. This is who I am. And they're not getting it. Then they took up stones to cast at him. But Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple, going through the midsts of them and so passed by. There's at no time in this that Christ can't put a stop to all of this. Sitting in church today and listening to Ryan, my pastor, and it hit me. Ryan was absolutely right. If he wanted to put a stop to this, he could have. He has the whole power of God. He's righteous. He's just. He could have put an end to it. He made this choice for us. He gave this choice just for us. And they missed the boat back then. They missed it, and he was right there in front of them. All the miracles, all the different things. And how many of us in this day would just, would that not be the ultimate thing for you to want to see, just being able there to witness and see and be around him? A lot of people in today's world get caught up and say, I wish I had like ten minutes more to speak to my father or to talk with an actor or a role model or something like that. I would have loved just a few seconds just to stand around him. He was that magnificent. I mean, he's unbelievably just. Wow. So chapter nine. Let's go on. Jesus heals the blind man and these things. Here it goes. It's picking up now, as you can see. What is he constantly doing? What did he do? He forgave. He has done so many miracles now, but here he's going to heal the blind man. But that's all he's done here. We've caught this woman caught in adultery. Hey, I'm not going to condemn you sin no more. I'm going to help you. I'm going to turn water into wine. I'm doing everything. I'm healing people. That's all he's done, is helped us, sacrificed for us right in front of them. They couldn't see it. They didn't want to see it. And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, master, who did sin, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? And Jesus answered, neither has this man sinned nor his parents. But that the Works of God should be manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me. While it is day, the night cometh. When no man can work. As long as I am the world. I am the light of the world. As long as I'm here, I'm going to do it. No man can really do work at night because he can't see. But I am the light of this world. I could do this at any time. And why I'm here, I'm going to work. And no, it's not because this man sinned. God does not lay that upon us. God doesn't. He's not sitting here laying sickness upon us. Most of you don't know, but I have a leukemia. It's a t cell lymphopolifeative disease, lupus, sle, sarcodosis. And suffer some. Some other illnesses. Mental health issues and everything. It's not God that gives us that. Sometimes we give it to ourselves. From our environment. Or whatever happens around here, or it just is. God does not want us to fail. God does not want to see us sick. God does not want us to fall to sin. God wants to take all of us with him. He just wants us to not sin, to love him, to repent, to come to him and share love. That's his goal. His goal is to save everybody. But we have free will. We have other plans. It's going to be our undoing. So let's go on. Chapter nine, verse six. Then he had thus spoken. He spat on the ground, and he made clay of the spittle. And he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And he said to him, go wash in the pool of Sloan. Which is by interpretation sent. He went his way, therefore, and washed and came seeing the neighbors. Therefore, that they which before had seen him, that he was blind, said, is this not he that sat and begged? Some said, this is he. Others said, he is like him. But he said, I am he. Therefore said they unto him, how were thy eyes opened? And he said, a man. A man that is called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes. And said in me, go to the pool of Salom and wash. And I went and washed, and I received sight. Then they said unto him, where is he? He said, I know not. They brought to the Pharisees him that for Time was blind. And it was the Sabbath day when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes. Then again, the Pharisees also asked how he received his sight. And he said, unto them he put clay upon my eyes, and I washed. And do see. Therefore, some of the pharisees. This is not a man of God. Because he keepeth not the Sabbath day. He keeps not the Sabbath day. God doesn't have to keep the Sabbath day. Christ doesn't have to keep the Sabbath day. Christ and God are the same. God is in him. He is in Christ. He is the king of kings. He is the Lord. He's the prince of peace. He is here to help. He is here to do miracles. He is just wanting people not to sin and to believe on him. And to give glory to him. So they said unto the blind man again, what sayest thee of him? That he opened thy eyes? And he said, he is a prophet. But the Jews did not believe concerning him. That he had been blind and received his sight. Until they called the parents of him that had received his sight. And they asked him, saying. Is this your son who you say was born blind? How doth he now see? His parents answered them and said, we know that this is our son and that he was born blind. But by what means he seeth now? We know not. Or who hath opened his eyes? We know not. He is of age. Ask him. He shall speak of himself. This is our son. He was born blind. We can tell you that. He's born blind. He was begging. Remember? You people called him a beggar. He was blind. And now you want me to answer and tell you how he all of a sudden he can see. How am I supposed to do that? Ask him. He's of age. Don't ask us. Ask him. He can see. We're as baffled and dumbfounded as you are. This is a miracle. These words spoke his parents. Because they feared the Jews. For the Jews had agreed already that if any man did confess that he was Christ. He should be put out of the synagogue. Therefore, said his parents, he is of age. Ask him. Then again, call they the man that was blind. And said to him, give God the praise. We know that this man is a sinner. And he answered and said, whether be a sinner or no, I know not one thing. I know that whereas I was blind, now I see. And we're on verse 26 on chapter nine. Once I was blind. Now I see. And he's telling him, okay, I was a sinner. I was blind. Now I can see. And yet the Pharisees themselves. You're blind. They're blind, and they're not seeing. Then they said to him again, what did he to thee? How opened he thy eyes? He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear. Wherefore would ye hear it again? Will ye also be his disciples? Then they reviled him and said, thou are his disciple. But we are Moses's disciples. And we know that if God spoke unto Moses, as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is. See, they're telling you we don't know anything about him. Christ is in front of him. He's doing the miracles. He's doing everything. And they're going to say, oh, we believe what Moses wrote. We believe all of that. But for this fellow. For this fellow, verse 29. We know that God spoken to Moses. As for this fellow, we know not from whence he is. Really? I mean, wow. The man answered and said to him, why, herein is a marvelous thing. That ye know not from whence he is. And yet he hath opened my eyes. Now we know that God heareth not sinners. But if any man be a worshipper of God, and doth his will, he him, he heareth. And since the world began, was it not heard that any man open the eyes of one that was born blind? If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. They answered and said unto him, thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. And Jesus heard they had cast him out. And when he had found him, he said unto them, dost thou believest on the son of God? And he answered and said, who is he, lord, that I might believe on him? And Jesus said unto him, thou hast both seen him. And it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, lord, I believe. And he worshiped him. And Jesus said, for judgment, I am come unto this world. That they which see might not see, and they which see might be made blind. Some of the Pharisees which were with him. Heard these words and said unto him, are we blind also? And Jesus said to them, if ye were blind, yet you should have no sin. But now you say, we see. Therefore your sin remaineth. Yeah, you're blind, no question. Chapter ten. I am the good shepherd. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that entereth not the door into the sheepful, but climbeth up some other way. The same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door, the shepherd of the sheep, to him the porter openeth, and the sheep hear his voice. And he calleth his own sheep by name, and he leadeth them out. God's children know him. When God calls us. We know him because we know his voice. Just like you have a dog or you have a cat, or if you have a child and you call them. He knows his mother's and father's voice. It's so much so with so much love. It's familiar. And we put it forth. His own sheep. He goeth before them and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. And the stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him, for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spoke Jesus unto them, but they understood not what the things that they which he spoke unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again, verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers. But the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture. The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. He's very clear. Chapter ten, verse ten. A thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. To the fullest measure. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. A shepherd protects his flock. We know this. They have dogs that are out there sometimes. And the shepherd's over here. And the dog is watching over here. He's watching for the wolves, the thieves, the different things that are going on to make sure that the sheep are protected. And the shepherd will give his life for the sheep. I got news for everybody. We are the sheep. Christ has come. He is the shepherd to sacrifice his life for us. And he did nothing wrong. And we did everything wrong and still do. The hireling fleeth because he is a hireling and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd and know my sheep. And am known of mine. As the father knoweth me. Even so know I the father. And I lay down my life for the sheep. You're going to crucify me. I know it, and I am going to do this anyway. And the other sheep which I have, which are not of this fold, them also I must bring. And they shall hear my voice and shall be one fold and one shepherd. Hey, it's not just for the Jews, the Gentiles, the Greeks, everybody from all four corners of the earth understand? The other sheep I have, which are not of this fold, not of the Jews. Them also I must bring. And they shall hear my voice. And there shall be of one fold and one shepherd. Do you understand that? We're all coming together. That's the plan. All of us coming together. Jews, Gentiles, Samaritans, everybody together. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it. Again. This commandment I have received of my father. There was a division. Therefore again the Jews for these sayings. And many of them said, he hath the devil and is mad. Why hear him, ye? Why hear him, ye him? Others say, these are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? Now, here we go. The opposition at the feast of the dedication in JERuSalem. And it was at JERusAlem the feast of the dedication, and it was WintER. And JEsus walked into the TEMPlE in SOloMON's PorCh. Then came the Jews round about him and said unto him, how long dost thou make US to doubt if thou be the Christ? Tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believe not the works that I do in my father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not because ye are not of my sheep. As I said unto you, my sheep hear my voice. And I know them, and they follow me. And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish. Neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My father which gave them me is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hand. I and my father are one. That sums it up. Chapter ten, verse 30. Bam. There it is. I and my father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. And Jesus said to him, many good works have I shown you from my father. For which of those works do you stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, for a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy. And because thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, is it not written in your law? I said, ye are gods. If he called them gods unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken, say ye of him whom the father has sanctified and sent into the world? Thou blasphemest. Because I said, I am the son of God. If I do not, the works of my father believeth me not. But if I do, though ye believe me not, believe the works that ye may know and believe that the father is in me and I in him. Therefore they sought again to take him. But he escaped out of their hand and they went away again beyond Jordan into a place where John at first baptized. And there he abode. And many resorted unto him and said, john did no miracle. But all things that John spoke of this man were true. And many believed on him. There, see, they're believing John. They're believing John. It's okay. They're going to believe John because John has spoke of Christ. And he said, listen, all these things that John talked about, well, it's true. So John, don't believe. Christ is standing there right in front of him saying, God is in me, I am in him. I have shown you works miracles, works, and they still won't believe. This is what boggles my mind. And they're going to pick up stones and stone him. These people are too much. And the more you read on, the more you kind of get frustrated. I mean, there's a lot of frustration that you go through in the Bible because these people just don't get it. They have tested God every which way around. But you know what? When I look at it today, they're just testing him in a different way. We test him every which way around every single day. He has got to be exhausted dealing with human beings, mere mortals. And he doesn't tired and he doesn't get weary. Of course, that's just kind of a euphemism. But the thing is that no matter what, he just never gave up on us and it blows you away. Now, chapter eleven. Here we're going to see that one of the greatest parts of this is going to be Christ raises Lazarus. I mean, incredible. It's just incredible. Every single thing he's done is just. Wouldn't you just love to see it? Wouldn't you have loved to been there just to follow him and pray that he didn't send you away just so you could follow him, just to be near him? I would have loved to have the opportunity God ever grant me just to talk with him. Many people have a lot of heroes in this world. I've got mine. It's Christ. It's just, that's my hero. We don't always treat our heroes the way that we should. But no matter what, he's mine. Chapter eleven. Now, a certain man was sick, named Lazarus of Bethany. Town of Mary and her sister Martha. It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. Therefore his sister sent unto him, saying, lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. When Jesus heard that, he said, this sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the son of God might be glorified thereby. Here it is. Jesus isn't doing everything on his own. God's telling him every single thing to do. Okay? He's telling you that. He said it throughout. John, I can't do anything unless the father tells me. I don't speak anything unless the father tells me. I do everything as the father wants. Again, but for the glory of God, that the son of God might be glorified thereby. Because God is in Christ. Christ is in God. They are one. If you can't figure out this miracle, then you don't want to. You want to be a prisoner of this world. Now, Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. And when he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was then. After that, saith he to the disciples, let us go into Judea again. His disciples said unto him, master, the jews of late sought to stone thee and thou goest thither again. Jesus answered, there are not 12 hours in a day. If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not because he seeth the light of this world. But if man walk in the night, he stumbleth because there is no light in him. These things he said, he. And after that he said unto him, our friend Lazarus sleepeth. But I go, that I may awake him out of his sleep. There is no death for Christ, okay? There is no death for God everlasting, the alpha, the omega. Bottom line is never, there's never going to be death. These things he said. And after that he said unto them, our friend Lazarus sleepeth. But I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then his disciples said, lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. How beeth Jesus spoke of his death? But they thought that he had spoken of taking a rest in sleep. Then Jesus said to them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sakes. I was not there to intend. Ye may believe nonetheless, let us go unto him. He wasn't there when Lazarus died. So now they can't deny it. What he is about to do, they are going to see with their own eyes there is no mistake about it. And they're going to see it. And I'll tell you what. We're going to stop there tonight. [00:50:26] Speaker A: And. [00:50:27] Speaker B: We'Re going to stop right there on 1197. And we are on chapter eleven. Verse 16. Because I get excited reading about this and I love reading about it. So let's put this down. And here we are. Verse 16. But I want you to remember the last thing he said. Then Jesus said to them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there. To the intent ye may believe. Nevertheless, let us go unto him. I'm glad I'm not there. We're going there. We're going to wake him up. You're going to see he's dead. [00:51:40] Speaker A: And. [00:51:40] Speaker B: I'm going to wake him up. This is where I tell everyone in the world today, where are you with God? Where are you in this moment in your life? We're a week away from Christmas. People struggling. People are hungry. People are scared, they're frightened, they're sick. They're having all these issues. Where are you with Christ, God? Are you Lazarus? Are you dead? Are you sleeping? Then this I can tell you. He can wake you up, but it's your choice. It's what you decide. We have all been asleep. And as I get later and later on in life, I am so glad he has woken me up. He is God. God is him. Lazarus is dead. He is going to wake him up. So I'm going to pray for you this week. I hope God wakes you up. It's a whole different, different thing. And it's wonderful. It's made a huge difference in my life. I hope it will make a huge difference in your life. And we'll catch up to that reading next week with that. Be good to one another. Love one another, take care of one another, and things will get there. And let's just pray for each other, be good to each other. Let's hope all these wars end, people figure it out a little better every day. I hope so. And with that, God bless you. Thanks for tuning into life. Walk with Christ, God on the trim radio network. And to my partners and everyone else, love you guys. [00:54:26] Speaker A: Always will depend on to the faith that's in my bone. Take me back to a preacher in a verse where they've seen me at my worst to the love I had at first oh, I want to go to church trying to walk on my own but I wound up lost now I'm making my way to the foot of the cross not a trophy for the winner it's a shelter for the sinners and it's right where I belong. Take me back to the place that feels like home to the people I can depend on. To the faith that's in my bone? Take me back to a preacher? And a verse? Where they've seen me at my words? To the love I had at first? Oh, I want to go to church? I want to go to church? Oh, more than enough foundation, the family of God. I know it. We need each other. This is brothers. Oh, take me back to the place that feels like home? To the people I can depend on? To the faith that's in my bone? Take me back to a preacher and a verse? Where they see me at my work? To the love I had at first? Oh, I want to go to church? Yeah, I want to go to church? I wanna go, go, wanna go, wanna go? Oh, I wanna go to church? I wanna go to change.
