[00:07:52] Speaker C: And we've been on the trim radio.
[00:07:53] Speaker B: Network for, oh, gee, what, over ten.
[00:07:57] Speaker C: Years, eleven years, twelve years, 13 years.
[00:08:00] Speaker B: That's a lot.
And that's a lot of information time.
It's amazing. People say, well, how often do you do the show?
[00:08:09] Speaker C: We do it once a week, and we look at everything that's happened during.
[00:08:13] Speaker B: The week, financially, and we pick the most important that we think you're going to need. And we've got a lot of good stuff for today.
[00:08:22] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:08:23] Speaker B: So, you know, check us out on the trim radio network. Okay. We've also got a big shout out.
[00:08:28] Speaker C: To the University of Findlay at ww dot findlay.edu.
[00:08:36] Speaker B: And I'll tell you what, the University of Findlay is a good school. If you go and you check them out at www.findley.edu, you will see the main page. Voila.
[00:08:52] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:08:53] Speaker B: The main page. And it will tell you all about the university. And I'll tell you what, it's a good school. And this fall, they have a new partner.
[00:09:04] Speaker C: The University of Bluffton has merged with.
[00:09:06] Speaker B: The University of Finland, which means you.
[00:09:08] Speaker C: Can take classes at either campus.
[00:09:10] Speaker B: They're about 20 miles away. And the University of Finland campus has a hazardous materials campuse. They also have the equestrian campus for veterinary pre med classes. And they also have the main campus, which you get your bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees there.
[00:09:32] Speaker C: The doctoral degrees will be in education.
[00:09:35] Speaker B: And physical therapy, things like that. Dentistry, not dentistry, but nursing.
They have a lot of good stuff, trust me. The University of Finley is a nice place.
[00:09:48] Speaker C: Very good professors, very good facilities. And they're an NCAA division two school.
[00:09:55] Speaker B: And I think right now they're rated.
[00:09:57] Speaker C: 23Rd in the country in NCAA division two football.
[00:10:02] Speaker B: But they also have an excellent golf team, excellent soccer team, excellent. Guess what? Volleyball. You know, hands over the head.
I'll tell you what, they've got a really good sports program there and it's a good school. But they have about 4000, 4500 students on campus and you can take online classes too. It's a good school.
[00:10:31] Speaker C: Trust me, it is. And it's located in Findlay, Ohio.
[00:10:34] Speaker B: And that's an all american city. And they have about 38 to 40,000 people living in Findlay. And it's a nice town.
[00:10:43] Speaker C: It really is.
[00:10:44] Speaker B: And it's small enough that you can enjoy it and big enough you can go shopping.
[00:10:51] Speaker C: Trust me, if you need to go.
[00:10:52] Speaker B: Get anything in Findlay for your dorm room or whatever. I'll tell you what, they've got a lot of shopping there. A lot more than when I went there years ago. I think Ryan lived there at the University of Finley.
[00:11:06] Speaker D: I think.
[00:11:07] Speaker B: I don't know if they, they would let us out of the cave or not.
Actually, the cave does exist. The cave happens to be at the student center. It's a kind of a gathering place so they call it the cave. Anyhow, check out the University of Finley at www.findley.edu. it's a good school. Hey, we have also got rusty ducks, custom pens and planks.
[00:11:34] Speaker C: If you need a custom pen.
[00:11:38] Speaker B: For.
[00:11:38] Speaker C: A presentation or a gift, you know.
[00:11:41] Speaker B: Something you want to take some pride in giving.
[00:11:46] Speaker C: Contact Phil at Rustyducks custom pens and blanks.
[00:11:50] Speaker B: They're on Facebook.
And I'll tell you what, he does.
[00:11:54] Speaker C: A lot of really nice pens. Michael Bayhas and I both bought our pens from Phil.
[00:11:59] Speaker B: And I'll tell you what, he's got some for Michael Bayhouse's fancy car that he's been working on.
[00:12:07] Speaker C: He's got a lodge pen for me.
[00:12:11] Speaker B: And he also makes second amendment pens, all kinds of presentation pens. And he's done pens for down at Gee whiz, Disney World, trade shows in Japan, trade shows elsewhere.
[00:12:26] Speaker C: I mean, he does some really good work.
[00:12:29] Speaker B: So trust, trust it when I say.
[00:12:31] Speaker C: He does good work, it is good work.
[00:12:34] Speaker B: And he does an excellent job, bar none. I mean, Phil does an excellent job at Rusty Ducks custom pens and blanks on Facebook. So you got to check them out. Okay. A big shout out to the big.
[00:12:48] Speaker C: Family homestead with Brad and Krista.
[00:12:49] Speaker B: They're in the middle of Wisconsin and.
[00:12:53] Speaker C: They talk about a lot of different.
[00:12:54] Speaker B: Things, so you have to check them out.
[00:12:57] Speaker C: Also the deep south homestead, which is.
[00:12:59] Speaker B: Now going to be pecan Grove, and.
[00:13:03] Speaker C: That'S going to be with Danny and Wanda King. And for years, they had the deep.
[00:13:08] Speaker B: South homestead and they raised cattle there and everything else.
[00:13:13] Speaker C: And they had the high tunnels for.
[00:13:15] Speaker B: The growing of crops and everything. Well, now they're sequencing over to Pecan Grove.
[00:13:21] Speaker C: They want to redevelop that one.
[00:13:22] Speaker B: So they bought another place, believe it or not, with a lot of pecan trees.
[00:13:27] Speaker C: Well, anyhow, they're going to be there. And Danny still does his porch time, and he does it on Sunday and.
[00:13:34] Speaker B: It says sent out on the Internet, on YouTube every Monday or Tuesday.
[00:13:40] Speaker C: And he talks about a lot of.
[00:13:42] Speaker B: Different things, not just growing crops, but.
[00:13:45] Speaker C: He talks about life in general, what's.
[00:13:49] Speaker B: Going on, what to prepare for.
You have to check them out.
[00:13:54] Speaker C: Also, we've got southern prepper one with Dave Kobler.
[00:13:58] Speaker B: And Dave thanked a lot of people for donations to the relief efforts in North Carolina, and he lives in South Carolina, but North Carolina is not too.
[00:14:09] Speaker C: Far from where he lives.
[00:14:10] Speaker B: And so he and his son and other people were helping out with the relief efforts. And he appreciates everything that was donated. And so he talks a little bit about that, but he also talks about the economy, too. Also, we have the patriot nurse, and that's with Rachel. And she talks a lot about the medical end of the planet, you know, with, oh, how you can, well, live with plants and tinctures and things like that. But she also talks about the economy and everything medical because she was a nurse, I guess she still is a nurse, but she did everything as a nurse. And so she's very knowledgeable, very good person. She's down in Tennessee. Great person. So check her out.
[00:15:03] Speaker C: That's patriot nurse.
[00:15:05] Speaker B: Then we have prepper nurse one with Ed Carswell. He's still building his compound down in West Virginia, getting ready for winter. And every weekend they have people come down and they are building cabins on this beautiful land spot that he's got. It overlooks the valley and everything. It's got a nice artesian spring and everything else. It's close to a, a small creek, and it's, it's neat. One of these days, I'll have to talk them into either coming on the show or else maybe go down there, maybe in the summertime, not in the wintertime. Anyhow, we've got prepper nurse one with Ed Kurzweil. Also we have prepper princess, and that's with Amber stork.
And so you have to check her out. She talks a lot about how to save money, some of the things that she does, and living frugally, and she's.
[00:16:06] Speaker C: Very good at what she's done, and she's a self made millionaire. The technical term is millionairess.
[00:16:11] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:16:12] Speaker B: But she says millionaire. I guess that's more term that we would use now. And then we have Dave Gilmore, the.
[00:16:20] Speaker C: LDS prepper, and he has over 600 videos.
And he talks about a lot of.
[00:16:29] Speaker B: Different things, whether it's growing crops or building a certain type of a building or doing different things.
[00:16:34] Speaker C: The one thing that he got me.
[00:16:35] Speaker B: On, and I know I always talk about it, and I'll tell you what, the people down in North Carolina and South Carolina and even Florida, if they're not ham radio operators, they could get.
[00:16:52] Speaker C: A GMRS radio, general mobile radio service radio.
[00:16:57] Speaker B: And actually, David Gilmore talked me into this and I got one and I thought, hey, this is kind of neat. And in an emergency, you can talk.
[00:17:06] Speaker C: With a lot of different people when.
[00:17:07] Speaker B: The phones don't work, okay?
[00:17:10] Speaker C: And it's not on the same band as ham bands.
[00:17:13] Speaker B: You don't have to take a test for this. Just pay $35, license is issued, and your whole family can use that license.
[00:17:24] Speaker C: Believe it or not, they can.
[00:17:25] Speaker B: The whole family, as long as they behave themselves. Okay, this radio is a ocean wou x u n 935 g. And this little handheld with this Nagoya 771 g antenna. I can talk 35 miles.
Can you believe that? On five watts, 35 miles. And I can talk with a lot of people. I have. And we get together late nights, and we can talk on this thing and have a good time. But in an emergency, when nothing else is working, these radios come in handy. So everybody in your family could get access to one.
[00:18:06] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:18:07] Speaker C: You talk to your friends, they can.
[00:18:09] Speaker B: Get them, and you can have a little net operation going on.
[00:18:12] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:18:13] Speaker C: It's good for communication when things go.
[00:18:16] Speaker B: Down south, if you know what I mean. GMRS radios. Check them out.
Also we have the Max and Mac.
Now, the guy that's on the Max never gives out his name. I'd like to know his name, and.
[00:18:32] Speaker C: One of these days I probably will find out.
[00:18:35] Speaker B: But I'll tell you what, he talks about a lot of different topics, and he's a pretty conservative guy, but he.
[00:18:42] Speaker C: Makes a lot of sense. So you have to check him out, the max.
[00:18:45] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:18:45] Speaker B: And that's on YouTube.
[00:18:47] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:18:48] Speaker B: So you have to check those people out.
Well, what's been going on?
[00:18:54] Speaker C: Oh, I have to plug the money and change financially.
[00:18:57] Speaker B: Prepped Facebook page.
And if I don't, I'm in trouble because that's where we post a lot of things that we have for the show. And guess what? There it is.
[00:19:12] Speaker C: Son of a gunna hit the right.
[00:19:13] Speaker B: Button for once and we are on Facebook and I post a lot of different things here. Usually a couple things a week, sometimes three or four things a day, depending on what happens. The last thing that I did today.
[00:19:29] Speaker C: Was the.
[00:19:32] Speaker B: Buffett indicator at an all time high.
And we're going to talk a little bit about that.
[00:19:38] Speaker C: The end of the US economic and.
[00:19:39] Speaker B: Military empire and the rise of gold.
We talk about that. We talk about how to save money.
[00:19:48] Speaker C: Things about getting things when you can or while you can. The 30 affordable winter survival items to get now. How to survive a winter power outage.
[00:20:01] Speaker B: You know, I've been hearing from a lot of different people on YouTube.
[00:20:08] Speaker D: That.
[00:20:08] Speaker B: There'S going to be a problem this winter, I'll put it that way. And they're saying we could have power shortages.
We could have no Internet, we could have food shortages.
A lot of different things. And one of the guys I was listening to yesterday, he was saying, you know, we're going to run into a famine situation, possibly.
And they always hedge that with possibly. And he said the big thing is to stock up on things. And what you need to stock up.
[00:20:45] Speaker C: On are canned goods, freeze dried foods, mres.
[00:20:49] Speaker B: Those are expensive.
[00:20:51] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:20:52] Speaker B: A friend of mine bought a bunch of mres and they thought they would save space in the storage container. So they took them out of the hermetically sealed packet and with that they.
[00:21:08] Speaker C: Probably ruined about $400 worth of mres.
[00:21:12] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:21:13] Speaker C: You leave them in the storage packet at sealed. Those things will be good for quite a long time.
[00:21:19] Speaker B: And you get breakfast, lunch and dinner, okay?
[00:21:22] Speaker C: But they are expensive.
[00:21:26] Speaker B: But they stock up on their groceries. And, you know, to stock up, all you need to do is buy a.
[00:21:34] Speaker C: Couple extra cans of food and put.
[00:21:37] Speaker B: Them aside and over a period of time, you'll be good. Now, some people that I listen to, they're saying everything's going to break loose during the elections or before the elections or just after the elections or before whoever takes over in January.
I don't know what to tell you. I don't know the time, the date, the people involved. All I can say is everything that I've been hearing on the web is prep.
And one of the people I knew out in Wyoming, they say prep, pray and stay out of the way.
Other people are saying prep and keep prepping.
[00:22:27] Speaker C: Don't stop.
[00:22:29] Speaker B: So, you know, every week buy a couple extra cans of food.
Just don't rush out and buy a whole bunch of stuff that you're not going to eat.
[00:22:39] Speaker C: But you can buy canned food.
You can buy freeze dried foods.
[00:22:46] Speaker B: You can buy mres meals ready to eat.
[00:22:50] Speaker C: It's military grade stuff.
[00:22:52] Speaker B: A lot of things.
[00:22:54] Speaker C: Make sure that you are able to.
[00:22:57] Speaker B: Store water.
[00:23:01] Speaker C: At least a gallon per person per day, minimum.
[00:23:05] Speaker B: You need two to three gallons in my opinion.
[00:23:09] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:23:11] Speaker B: Because you have to wash with it. You have to wash your dishes with it.
You have to drink water. You have to stay hydrated. And so you want to have that. You want to be able to make sure that you can heat your house with alternative things. Do you have a kerosene heater? Do you have kerosene?
[00:23:30] Speaker C: Do you have a mister buddy heater?
[00:23:32] Speaker B: That's a little propane heater?
Do you have a wood stove, a pellet stove?
[00:23:40] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:23:41] Speaker C: We're getting into the heating season and so you need alternative heat just in.
[00:23:45] Speaker B: Case things get bad.
[00:23:48] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:23:49] Speaker B: Do you have gasoline?
[00:23:51] Speaker C: Can you store it safely?
Do you keep your car filled with gas all the time?
[00:24:00] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, you should.
[00:24:03] Speaker C: Do you have enough gasoline for your.
[00:24:05] Speaker B: Mowers if you're going to be mowing your yard?
[00:24:08] Speaker C: Do you have enough kerosene for your kerosene lamps and so forth?
[00:24:16] Speaker B: A lot of things to think about.
[00:24:17] Speaker C: How about cold weather clothing? Do you have that available?
[00:24:21] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:24:22] Speaker C: Do you have good set of mittens.
[00:24:23] Speaker B: And hats and all that kind of stuff? It's called prepping and that's why we.
[00:24:28] Speaker C: Say money and change slash financially prepped.
[00:24:34] Speaker B: What about spare money?
[00:24:37] Speaker C: Have you been putting money aside different places?
[00:24:40] Speaker B: Because we're going to talk about that today. We're going to talk about a lot of different things and some things will be very quick, quickly covered and you.
[00:24:49] Speaker C: Can watch the reruns or you could.
[00:24:51] Speaker B: Check out the money and change Facebook page.
[00:24:54] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:24:55] Speaker B: So you can check that one out right now. I've told you two things. We've got another one, Tara and Tara.
[00:25:04] Speaker C: Kellon's just talking about be prepared with.
[00:25:06] Speaker B: Floods, fires and everything else. You got to check her out.
Saving on a dime, I believe what it is. And also niacin.
[00:25:16] Speaker C: What does that do for you?
[00:25:17] Speaker B: Do you have, oh, do you have vitamins in an emergency?
[00:25:21] Speaker C: Do you have vitamins.
[00:25:25] Speaker B: Besides extra food?
[00:25:26] Speaker C: You have to have vitamins in your medications.
[00:25:28] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:25:29] Speaker B: And those blue tarp tents, I would make sure that you get several packs.
[00:25:34] Speaker C: Of the blue tarps because if you.
[00:25:35] Speaker B: Get a hole in the roof and it's bad weather outside, you can put the blue tarps on and keep the water out.
[00:25:42] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:25:43] Speaker B: You can make a tent out of it, too. You could probably put two of them.
[00:25:48] Speaker C: Together and separate them a little bit.
[00:25:49] Speaker B: And create a little bit air distance, little insulation.
[00:25:54] Speaker C: Playing with fire is another one that.
[00:25:56] Speaker B: Was posted and what to buy now. And you could see as I'm going.
[00:26:02] Speaker C: Up what we have and then also the rogue prepper. And is 72 hours of food storage enough?
[00:26:09] Speaker B: Well, it's enough to get you started.
[00:26:11] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:26:12] Speaker B: But it's not enough to carry it through. You should basically have at least three months worth of food, water, backup, cash. Okay, do you have a generator? Do you have solar panels?
[00:26:28] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:26:29] Speaker C: If you've been prepping solar panels, take.
[00:26:31] Speaker B: Time to charge things. But solar batteries, those are work. You can plug them into your wall and charge them up and you can store them and you can power a refrigerator when the power goes down, you could power lights, whatever.
[00:26:47] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:26:48] Speaker C: Just the larger appliances.
[00:26:49] Speaker B: You have to watch out for that.
So there, we're talking about that. And you know, there are a lot of videos that I have there.
[00:26:56] Speaker C: The only LDS prepper or prep manual.
[00:26:59] Speaker B: There for natural disasters, they were talking about that and where you can get it. There's the max strange reports all across.
[00:27:08] Speaker C: America warning about October.
[00:27:10] Speaker B: They keep saying something's going to happen in October and we haven't had it happen yet.
[00:27:15] Speaker C: And I'm not sure it will happen.
[00:27:17] Speaker B: In October, probably November, December or January for that matter. But everything's posted and this is a good one here, the SHTF frequency list.
You can go ahead and print that off. It talks about FRS radios, gmrs, radio frequency, CB radios, ham.
Okay, SAR, VHF and marine bands. So you can check that out and you can print it off too. Okay, so we've got that going.
So with that, guys, let's get into what we're going to talk about because we've got a lot to do today.
And let me get this down to.
[00:28:01] Speaker C: Where I can go ahead and start bringing stuff up.
[00:28:04] Speaker B: There was an article about consumers running out of money. I don't know about you, but things are getting expensive and it's really starting to get expensive. And so I was looking around to find an article about that and I found one. I believe it was in zero hedgehead.
And here it is, consumers running out of money. Former target executive offers dire warning ahead of Christmas.
And it says us corporate media outlets continue to push propaganda that the economy thrives ahead of the presidential elections, cheerleading, the most recent retail sales printhead. However, most Americans know that the MSM is full of, well, they say, malarkey because inflation and interest rates force many to spend more but receive less. And you know that you go to the grocery store, you go in with a $100 bill, and you come out with not very many things in your basket. Okay, $100.
Back in the 1950s would probably get.
[00:29:22] Speaker C: You two grocery carts full of food.
[00:29:25] Speaker B: And then in the seventies and eighties.
[00:29:28] Speaker C: It might get you one.
[00:29:31] Speaker B: And now to get a full basket, depending on what you buy, can be between two and $300 worth of food and other things.
[00:29:41] Speaker D: Okay, things are expensive.
[00:29:44] Speaker B: Check the price of toilet paper, the.
[00:29:47] Speaker C: Old necessity that you want to have.
[00:29:50] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:29:51] Speaker B: Everybody ought to have plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, oh, Kleenex, you name it, you should have it stocked up because you never know, you may be needing it. Just a hint.
Well, anyhow, the one guy was talking about, and I believe it was Gerald Storch on the Fox Business Maria Bartiromo show. I think this was Thursday.
[00:30:18] Speaker C: He says it's very clear that consumers.
[00:30:21] Speaker B: Are running out of money. They're increasingly stressed by inflation and the exhaustion of their pandemic era savings. And when you take a look at over the last several years, you see month after month, everybody talks about consumers still spending.
Well, they're spending, but now they're using a credit card. You know that little piece of plastic that's in your wallet. Mm hmm. They're using that a lot and they're just charging and charging and charging. And eventually things are going to come due.
And what happens if you don't have the money to pay it?
You know, credit cards are good on big ticket items, but everything else you ought to really be paying cash.
[00:31:12] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:31:13] Speaker B: And so they're talking about some of.
[00:31:15] Speaker C: The statistics and you can see that.
[00:31:17] Speaker B: Here and the dire state of things with their charts and Halloween spending.
You know, I believe 2023, it was up there about 12.28, no, $12.2 billion.
And now for Halloween, it's about $11.6 billion.
[00:31:44] Speaker C: Okay, that's for Halloween.
[00:31:48] Speaker B: What are you going to do for Halloween?
Trick or treat. Candy gets expensive.
[00:31:54] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:31:55] Speaker B: Do you have a budget?
[00:31:58] Speaker C: If not, you ought to learn how.
[00:32:00] Speaker B: To do a budget. And I believe several years ago we did that and put that our money and change slice financially prepped website so.
[00:32:10] Speaker C: You can go back and look at things.
[00:32:12] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:32:16] Speaker B: People are running out of money. It's costing more.
Gasoline is more than it was.
I mean, the fluctuation tonight, I came back, I thought, well, I'll get some gas. And it was like 289.
[00:32:31] Speaker C: Yesterday. It was 269. So why did it go up $0.20 on Sunday?
[00:32:37] Speaker B: Hmm.
I don't know.
Well, I'll tell you what.
Investors with this market situation that we've got, they're getting worried about a stock market bubble and where they should put their money, according to an economist.
And I'll tell you what, investing can be a tough thing.
And I don't know about you, but investing right now, I don't know about.
[00:33:16] Speaker C: Putting money into the stock market.
[00:33:19] Speaker B: Warren Buffett has been taking money out of the stock market.
[00:33:25] Speaker C: He's been selling off some things and putting it into cash.
[00:33:29] Speaker B: That's just a hint, okay?
[00:33:31] Speaker C: You watch what Warren Buffett does, and.
[00:33:33] Speaker B: Generally that's what you need to do. Well, anyhow, investors are worried about a market correction that could. That could adjust their portfolios, according to David Rosenberg. And the top economist has warning warnings about stocks are in a bubble and.
[00:33:52] Speaker C: A risk of a major decline.
[00:33:54] Speaker B: Remember the housing bubble I talked about several months ago?
The prices go up and up and up and up and up, and then finally somebody says, I'm not going to buy that stuff.
And people start holding on to their money, and all these expensive homes, and people can't make the mortgage payments.
They can't pay the interest, so the bank forecloses.
The bank gets stuck.
That just happened to be down the street. Somebody took out a double mortgage on the house that they had.
[00:34:38] Speaker C: They couldn't hold on to it, so.
[00:34:39] Speaker B: The bank took it back, and it took them forever to sell it. They finally found a buyer, but the.
[00:34:47] Speaker C: Price of the house went up about.
[00:34:49] Speaker B: $50,000 over what it was originally at the bank. Had to make extra money to kind of pay off their debts.
Well, anyhow, Rosenberg says he advised the.
[00:35:04] Speaker C: Investors to pay attention to key sectors and add insurance to their portfolio.
[00:35:09] Speaker B: So what's insurance?
[00:35:11] Speaker C: He's talking about gold and silver, precious metals.
[00:35:14] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:35:16] Speaker B: That's what he's talking about. And if you're going to invest money, if you have spare money, he's saying you might want to take a look.
[00:35:24] Speaker C: At healthcare and consumer staples.
[00:35:28] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:35:29] Speaker B: Investors should gear their investments towards what.
[00:35:32] Speaker C: People will always need in the future.
[00:35:35] Speaker B: You want to put your money in utilities, okay? They look promising.
And forecasters have predicted a huge upside in the utility firms.
[00:35:48] Speaker C: Aerospace and defense is another area to.
[00:35:51] Speaker B: Invest in, or big tech.
And you want to look for safe bets, okay.
You want to look at the truest store of value, according to Rosenberg.
So what you need to do is.
[00:36:08] Speaker C: Be careful on what you invest with, okay?
[00:36:12] Speaker B: Money is precious, and that's what you.
[00:36:15] Speaker C: Want to be able to do is.
[00:36:16] Speaker B: Get the best use of your money, you know? And some people are talking about.
[00:36:26] Speaker D: The.
[00:36:26] Speaker C: End of the US.
[00:36:30] Speaker B: There's a lot of political uncertainty. And here you can see the end.
[00:36:34] Speaker C: Of the US economic and military empire and the rise of gold.
[00:36:38] Speaker B: Everybody is saying, hey, we want gold.
[00:36:43] Speaker C: We don't want fiat currency, paper currency.
[00:36:48] Speaker B: We don't want an oil based dollar.
And therefore you get the BRICS, which is what you have to look into.
And I'll tell you what, the BRICS.
[00:37:04] Speaker C: Countries are having a meeting, I believe it's next week, and they're going to.
[00:37:08] Speaker B: Talk about how they're going to handle money between the different countries and how they would trade rubles for yuan and so forth. And a lot of those countries have switched over to, guess what? Gold.
Yeah.
Well, there's a guy by the name of Egon von Griers, okay? Von Greer's golden. It's von graeters gold.
And he's saying unsustainable deficits and galloping debt levels combined with crumbling military are.
[00:37:43] Speaker C: The perfect recipe for the end of an empire.
[00:37:48] Speaker B: And it is exactly the position that.
[00:37:50] Speaker C: The US finds itself in, according to von Griers.
[00:37:55] Speaker B: But it also means a new golden.
[00:37:57] Speaker C: Era for real money.
[00:37:59] Speaker B: And that's obviously gold. Of course he's pushing gold, but yeah, gold works okay?
And he said he's written before about.
[00:38:11] Speaker C: The end of the us empire, Orwell's 1984 newspeak and dirt cheap gold.
[00:38:19] Speaker B: And the article's there.
And as you can see on the screen, us insolvency, you know, and back when Reagan was there in 1981, we didn't have much debt.
[00:38:35] Speaker C: And then it kept getting worse and worse and worse.
[00:38:38] Speaker B: It went up and Obama went up during Trump and then during Biden. They're saying in 2025 we will be.
[00:38:46] Speaker C: $40 trillion in debt. The government doesn't know when to stop spending. A drunken sailor does because he runs.
[00:38:54] Speaker B: Out of money, okay? But not the government. They keep spending and they keep spending our tax money, they give it away and they put it on crazy projects and not infrastructure, okay? Now, if you can see here, Fred is showing you the US in billions.
[00:39:14] Speaker C: And the debt total, and the federal.
[00:39:17] Speaker B: Debt and the debt and GDP, okay?
The total us debt is like $101 trillion when you look at everything.
[00:39:30] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:39:31] Speaker C: Right now, if we take a look.
[00:39:32] Speaker B: And I'm just gonna jump, we're gonna take a look at the national debt and to do that, I hit more buttons.
And the national debt right now is $35,770,000,000,000.
[00:39:53] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:39:53] Speaker B: 180 million in climbing. That means it's $105,960 per citizen. And the debt per taxpayer is $271,577.
I don't know about you, but I don't have that in cold cash.
I don't even think I've got that in investments.
And the federal tax revenue is right now 4,948,000,754,000.
And that's getting about $14,733 per citizen. It's right there. Real time numbers.
[00:40:34] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:40:36] Speaker B: They're talking about payroll tax, income tax, corporation tax, tariff tax, estate gift tax.
Yeah.
All the statistics are right here, guys, and you can take a look at them and I don't know what they're saying.
[00:40:57] Speaker C: Gold and silver, or.
[00:40:58] Speaker B: Let's see if I can find that.
[00:41:01] Speaker C: Gold and precious metals, gold supply and demand.
[00:41:05] Speaker B: Let's click on that.
In ounces, 39,000,363 or 383, 771oz of gold in China.
[00:41:24] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:41:25] Speaker B: And it goes on.
[00:41:26] Speaker C: What does jewelry industry, dentistry, electronics and others do?
[00:41:33] Speaker B: The total gold demand is right there.
[00:41:36] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:41:37] Speaker B: Now, if you take a look at.
[00:41:40] Speaker C: The prices on gold and silver.
[00:41:43] Speaker B: Well, silver, right. Well, let's go to gold.
Gold right now is $2,735.40 an ounce.
I remember when it was something like $1500 an ounce. And that's going up. And as we have been doing this show, it is $6.20 up.
Yeah.
And silver is at $34.13 an ounce.
[00:42:14] Speaker C: And it's gone up $0.86.
[00:42:16] Speaker B: Now, some people are saying silver is really going to take off because it's scarce.
They use a lot in manufacturing. Palladium is $1,037.80 an ounce. It went up $7.30.
And by AP M ex, and they say, well, you can get things as.
[00:42:39] Speaker C: Low as.
[00:42:43] Speaker B: Normally by checking wire. If I want to take a look at it, is a $41.62 an ounce.
It was a lot less.
It was.
I'll tell you guys, if you're not into gold and silver, if you have the money to do it, it's a.
[00:43:08] Speaker C: Good hedge against calamity, because when the.
[00:43:10] Speaker B: Dollar crashes, if it crashes, when it crashes, gold and silver will be the only two things that will be used for bartering.
[00:43:21] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:43:22] Speaker B: So you want to check that out.
[00:43:24] Speaker C: You can go to apmex silver.com.
[00:43:27] Speaker B: I don't, I don't care where you go.
[00:43:29] Speaker C: I'm not pushing anyone.
[00:43:30] Speaker B: It's just, it's easy if I use silver.com or apmex because of this chart at the top.
[00:43:36] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:43:42] Speaker B: But pay down your debt, put some.
[00:43:44] Speaker C: Money aside, buy some long term food first. Do your prepping first.
[00:43:50] Speaker B: Anything left over and you want to put it into gold and silver, that's fine and dandy. Okay, but do your research.
[00:44:00] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:44:01] Speaker B: Now the everything hedge, they were talking about the everything hedge.
And how do you hedge on calamity?
The only thing you can do with hedging is gold and silver.
And zero hedge had something, the everything hedge.
[00:44:27] Speaker C: And this was James Rickords.
[00:44:29] Speaker B: Jim Rickards at the daily reckoning.
Oh, filtered water from the Berkey.
We're going to talk a little bit how to get fluorite out of your water.
And my Berkeley does that. And you're saying, well, that's expensive. Well, not really. In the long run.
You can filter out a lot of contaminants and you can also take out.
[00:44:56] Speaker C: The fluoride from the water.
[00:44:59] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:45:01] Speaker C: And there are a lot of studies.
[00:45:02] Speaker B: On that and you'll have to check that out on your own.
But anyhow, what do we do with money and hedging?
[00:45:11] Speaker C: You're going to hedge against calamity.
[00:45:13] Speaker B: It's not a bet, basically, even though banks bet with your money hedging, but gold and silver can be.
[00:45:25] Speaker C: A safe.
[00:45:26] Speaker B: Haven for your money because if the paper money fails, then it's going to be up to the precious metals to work.
[00:45:36] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:45:38] Speaker B: And a lot of people are saying, well, we're going to go to digital money, CBDCs, maybe if we do CBDCs, the central bank, digital coin, then the government controls everything.
They control your spending.
[00:45:56] Speaker C: Whatever you do is going to be CBDC.
[00:46:01] Speaker B: They can't control fiat currency.
[00:46:04] Speaker C: They can't control gold and silver.
[00:46:07] Speaker B: Okay, well, they might, but chances are they probably won't. But anyhow, Jim records is saying, goodbye, digital, hello physical. And he says, sure.
[00:46:21] Speaker C: Election day is Tuesday, November 5.
[00:46:23] Speaker B: Remember to vote. I don't care who you're voting for, what you're voting on, but vote. Okay, November 5. But the election is happening in real time and will mostly be over by.
[00:46:36] Speaker C: The end of this week because of early voting, mail in ballots, drop boxes, and ballot harvesting. And these votes won't be counted until election day, but they are being cast now.
[00:46:49] Speaker B: So hopefully somebody will be watching this time.
And it goes state by state. So different states have different laws and obviously, but, you know, in many states.
[00:47:03] Speaker C: The voting has already begun.
[00:47:05] Speaker B: And in many cases it was October 11 and other states open October 15.
[00:47:11] Speaker C: But the point is, a lot of.
[00:47:13] Speaker B: The votes have already happened and a lot more is going to happen during that week.
So the election will be over before election day. That's what he's saying. I'm saying it probably won't. A good portion of it might be over, but it may not.
And some of the sectors that will benefit from one candidate who is very popular, oil and natural gas drilling and mining, gold, silver and copper and lithium, defense spending, automobile manufacturing.
But they still go back to physical, physical money.
Okay, we're talking about refiners, refiners and more refiners. And he says here, my senior analyst Dan Aylas or a. Moss, lays out.
[00:48:12] Speaker C: The investment case for refiners, which should.
[00:48:15] Speaker B: Thrive under a second administration.
[00:48:20] Speaker C: One sector you should pay attention to is refiners, because the us refiners are in a new golden age. Two years ago, you may recall hearing.
[00:48:31] Speaker B: News stories about tight diesel supplies across the US.
[00:48:38] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:48:39] Speaker B: And that was going on.
[00:48:41] Speaker C: And the cold, hard reality says that.
[00:48:44] Speaker B: Green energy advocates need to accept that billion plus fleet of international combustion engines.
[00:48:51] Speaker C: Around the world will need diesel and gasoline for decades in the future.
[00:48:56] Speaker B: What happened when you had the floods up in Tennessee?
Things got washed away.
[00:49:04] Speaker C: How would electric vehicles work?
[00:49:08] Speaker B: Well, there wouldn't be any electricity, would there?
And once they get wet, they're done for.
So what do you have left?
[00:49:16] Speaker C: Diesel and gasoline.
[00:49:19] Speaker B: Semis run on diesel.
Think about it.
And we've got refineries in a golden age. You know, hydrogen is a crucial ingredient.
[00:49:30] Speaker C: According to Rickards, in the oil refining.
[00:49:32] Speaker B: Process, and it dilutes the carbon in.
[00:49:35] Speaker C: The end product, which allows for increased production of high quality fuels.
[00:49:42] Speaker B: Okay, and then where do the refineries get the hydrogen? And they get it from natural gas.
So natural gas is going to be a good one.
[00:49:52] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:49:53] Speaker B: But he says, in the most part, gold is the everything hedgehead returning to the election.
[00:50:04] Speaker C: The uncertainty factor in the.
[00:50:06] Speaker B: Element, and the element of surprise is too soon in a final prediction.
But somebody's going to take office and there's a lot of uncertainty. And with that uncertainty, there's volatility will.
[00:50:23] Speaker C: Be high for the next several weeks in several sections of the market.
So that's why Buffett was putting his money into gold and silver.
A lot of the wealthy are converting.
[00:50:41] Speaker B: Things to cash, like gold and silver, not fiat money. They're selling out their stocks and they're saying, hey, I'm going to put all this back into gold and silver, platinum. And that's what I'm going to put it in.
I'm not going to leave it in a lot of high tech stocks, things that are going to, I'll say go south, if you know what I mean.
[00:51:06] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:51:07] Speaker B: So watch how you invest your money.
[00:51:10] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:51:11] Speaker B: Now.
[00:51:14] Speaker C: Here'S where investors worry about a stock market bubble should put their money.
[00:51:19] Speaker B: According to a top economist. And that's what we're going to talk about next.
And where do you put your money? Well, for us common people, you know, we're going to be doing long term food and water and medicines and everything there.
But where are the big guys? Where are they going to go? Well, there's an article, Jennifer Soar did it, Yahoo Finance, and she said that investors worried about a market correction should.
[00:51:50] Speaker C: Adjust their portfolio, according to David Rosenberg. And he warns about stocks or in a bubble.
[00:51:58] Speaker B: Okay, remember we talked about the housing bubble, the other stocks are in a bubble.
And some people like to drive things up.
And then the people in the know.
[00:52:10] Speaker C: Wait till it gets as high as.
[00:52:11] Speaker B: It'S going to go.
[00:52:11] Speaker C: Then they sell out and grab the.
[00:52:13] Speaker B: Money because the stock value is way up there and it drops significantly.
[00:52:19] Speaker C: Put your money in healthcare.
[00:52:21] Speaker B: We talked about that.
[00:52:22] Speaker C: We talked about utilities and other things.
[00:52:27] Speaker D: Okay?
[00:52:28] Speaker B: Just where they would put their money.
Now, remember, I talked a little bit about fluoride.
Really?
[00:52:41] Speaker C: Well, there's a way to take that.
[00:52:43] Speaker B: Out, and I'm not going to say definitively that is the only way to take it out, but this is a good way to do it. And here it is, how to remove.
[00:52:56] Speaker C: Fluoride from your water at home.
[00:52:59] Speaker B: You know, they say that fluoride attacks the pineal gland between your eyes, you know, right up in here. And they're saying that it calcifies and your third eye doesn't work as well.
